Original Optional (?) Five-oval Rims

So over the years I have heard from original 240Z Series 1 owners that recall buying these rims as dealer supplied/installed when they purchased their car new. Some series 1 articles have also described this. Does anybody know if, as originally supplied, the back of the rims and the inside of the ovals were painted satin black? Thanks for any info, John H.

The inside of my US Wheels slotted wheels were aluminum. I've never seen painted ones.
