Is the rail solid except where the regulator is plumbed in. Late 77 on had the solid rail.

Fuel pressure regulator. What year fuel rail are you using or should I ask is it the early two piece rail or the later one piece?

Are you going to try to utilize that one?

@matt90gt, A lot of folks search the forum as you well know looking for problem solving clues. By chance did you have an opportunity to go back and edit your strategy for the vacuum canister. Reason I mention is it’s human nature to not read the entire thread. I know I’m guilty of that myself. Thanks for the input and welcome to the forum.

Mine ran around 32 after the initial start. Mine bled off rather quickly meaning over but was never a problem on a cold start.

Check the ohm rating in the FSM for your car. Amazon has a good selection including Bosch. One of the 240 guys here could probably advise.

My experience is having one guy pushing downward as far as you can and the other tightening the bolts.

There have been a lot of folks that made the conversion and swear it’s a night and day difference.

Out of curiosity, Are the cages designed the same meaning the blades on the cage itself.

Thought it would have been alot more and that’s why he didn’t take it.

My two cents would be to go the rock auto route. You have dodged one bullet already IMO.

Boots are relatively inexpensive. Gluing itIMO won’t hold up. The trans boot might be deteriorating as well.

I’m not an expert nor have I attempted this before. My initial thought would be just to connect one wire and try that first. I’m sure you’ll find an answer here from someone that’s been down that road.

Had many issues with my kit. I bought the performance pipe instead of a header. None of it fit right. They told me they have never had a complaint. Had to take it to a muffler shop where they cut it every where.

With that being sad have the rest of you guys noticed that in recent months that parts from individual sellers have gotten insane.
