  1. Fantastic looking car! Alwzys has been too, I remember the photo in front of that glass building,PPG maybe? Also PPG paint?
  2. Does it do it constantly forward or backwards? Usually a u joint will pop when you yank the tire back and forth. You might find a grease zerk on the u joints, also?
  3. That's some cool stuff you can do and see. You can shut it down with your phone? Incredible technology.
  4. Old I know but here's a pic thanks to Hoover, @240260280
  5. @Captain Obviousfill in again today. Check to make sure you don't have some type of debris around any of the rotating stuff. I've heard plastic bags, pieces of wire etc. getting on the drive shaft, in the u-joints, wherever, makes a sudden noise.
  6. Yes. They're the male end. The sender is. Hope that fixes it! If you're gonna buy some I'd get that thick pink tape. I love that stuff better than the thin white.
  7. I've put teflon tape on my oil senders. No leaks.
  8. Will's danger.
  9. here's how @240260280z does his. when he's in a hurry muriatic acid works too. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fuel/gastank/index.htm
  10. You can clamp the fuel line to the csv. Little bitty cigars? I've seen people smoking those in rap vidyos.
  11. That looks promising in my opinion. $5.50 you can't go wrong! If you get good results with that you'll have done a great favor to us all. Please update if you try it.
  12. Looks like a set of plug wires and who knows the boxy looking thing. I thought it was an aluminum radiator.
  13. Late to the welcoming but glad you found us. Great car too! It's got that monstrous Yorx a/c mine had. They are right in the way of everything. Mine's in a box in storage with the other OE stuff I've removed.
  14. I'm very sorry to say that was done by the guy I bought the car from and he told me about using that stuff. I'm thinking he called it poly butyl for windows but I'm not 100%. Been awhile back, sorry. Maybe someone will chime in that might know. Cliff
  15. There's a small arrow on those filters that shows flow direction. Point it to the pump. Let me see if I can do this...yep! Learning this phone. http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fuel/g3filter/index.htm
  16. Here's the best I could find of the cracked dash repair with low sheen elastomeric sealant. I was thinking it was for sealing commercial glass but after googling it i saw where it's for masonry also. The cracks were above the 3 gauges in the middle.
  17. I was thinking it might be leaky.
  18. I'm sure this has been discussed but I must. Is your cold start valve out of the picture?
  19. Looks like it! I've been trying to figure that out to.
  20. Here's a good thread I used when I did mine.

  23. @Hardway might know of someone too?
  24. This fire extinguisher fits perfect in the passenger's bin. It's metal and rechargeable. https://www.lowes.com/pd/first-alert-fire-extinguisher-rechargeable/3057083?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-rpe-_-google-_-lia-_-173-_-smoke-_-3057083-_-0&kpid&store_code=1640&k_clickID=go_625853472_42756562215_195658873186_aud-305162224742:pla-314310822465_c_9012730&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu9uyq5ju4QIVGovICh149w2JEAQYASABEgLWw_D_BwE
