  1. @Zed Headwill you make my life easier when you get done here? I know how helpful you are with Zs. I needs some help with more ZZZ'S.
  2. Damn Greg! It's like a junkbox out of Graceland. You know em all.
  3. If you have it on the right wire it should blink as the turn signal. If not the bulb socket is no good. I'd say fuse, bulb filament, female socket then the main switch.
  4. Watered Rodger, the 240. He has a new friend, Archie. Can't wait to shake brakes with one another.
  5. I've used a insulation piercing volt meter many times without removing the part I was testing voltage on. It has a needle like end you push through the outer insulation to the copper wire for testing. I can't say how many times I've pricked my fingers to accidentally test MY voltage.
  6. If it's a '75 it should have an n42 head with the pump hole already there, at least mine does.
  7. Join our club. Put those SUs on a 240. I don't think my stock efi supplies the fuel when it could. It seems like a bottleneck compared to the carbs. The carbs get in the redline and won't stop until you decide. Efi seems to have a governor built in somehow with all the components. I'm talking stock stuff, no work arounds. On newer cars and bikes you have to re configure the ecu to get all the juice squeezed out.
  8. He goes from efi to SUs here...
  9. The pictures are great. I know someone that bought a '70 that's enjoying you thread. I know I am.
  10. I rembered what you MUST be good at, in my mind anyway, Tetris. You have that way of thinking. "It'll fit, I know it will". Proof is in the pictures.
  11. Says here 1/2 NPT... https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-260z-280z-s30-forums-9/transmission-differential-drain-plugs-37496/
  12. You got my spring cleaning kicked up to high gear, thank you for sharing your projects with me/us. It's a great motivational "speech".
  13. I have the OE belts in mine but if wanted something better I'd google "240z seatbelt upgrade classiczcars.com"
  14. I've found putting mine on ramps to raise the front and a pillow or two on the door sill is really helpful. After watching the video I think I'll use two milk crates to lay on from now on. Thanks for sharing that @SteveJ
  15. Yes! The middle tag part slides into the other panels and is held in place by the small rivets like Yarb referenced.
  16. They're regular tag hold down screws. I found a picture that shows I used the carded "Help" stuff from a chain store, they're plastic.
  17. Yeah my 240 has the bottom "J" looking holders but 2 screws up top.
  18. I have a picture of a girl called Flower and it's NOT because of her sweet smell. The complete opposite actually. Happy birthday!
  19. The pull cord releases the latch that locks the hood down. Normally done with the t handle in the cab from what I understand. My '72 has been replaced already by the PO.
  20. I'm anxious to get and see some photos of our cars during this super hyped eclipse. We had one in 2017 and although I took some cool pictures of light shining through the tree leaves, they looked liked stars all over my yard but wow for 5 minutes. Here's the closest picture I have of what this "purkinje" is supposed to be.
