Noticeably different outcome when I didn’t add it in the beginning of my day. @joe newsom So you pickle before you degrease and you wait for the fizzing to stop? I have degreased before pickling and I don't know whether to wait for the fizzing to stop or not. What causes the fizzing?

The arcing was from a larger vertical cylinder to an adjacent part. I assume that is a capacitor but who knows not my field of expertise. I would be glad to ship it to you for grins and giggles... The unit is pretty cheap about $65 to $70 shipped...

I have found that salvage yards don't want to sell whole cars. Won't even consider it. The only exception to that I have seen was a 66 vette that was worth 200k finished so they found the title for that one...

My only thought would be what voltage are you getting at the "dink" horn?

Some people use shark hide instead of Diamond Clear. Media blasting is probably the way to go. I would clear it with Diamond clear or shark hide or even the aluminum VHT over oiling it. Just my 2 cents worth

Your logic is good and you could infer results like that. I wonder how many people have quantifiable results versus just the butt dyno?

My plating bench is under a covered roof outside my shop.I keep the bench outside because I didn't want the fumes in my shop. I keep it covered in plastic to keep dirt and sawdust off of it. The power supply sits between the SP degreaser and the pickle tank. So right next door, like 4". I suspect the fumes from all of the solutions can move around under the plastic. All of the chromate solutions have very low Ph's too. The new one will be set out and removed for every plating session I thought about seeing if any of my "Sparky" friends wanted to take a shot at repairing it for giggles @Captain Obvious @SteveJ

I would think one of the biggest issues for buyers would be the dash modifications. The rest of it seems pretty much run of the mill...

I think you are going to have a real challenge getting it properly tuned using the factory EFI. You need more resolution in your maps and the shape of the maps will be different than what the stock system can provide. I use the term "Maps" loosely as I don't know that the stock ECU even really uses a map BTW your numbers are really rich...
