Ground Control Coilover shock sizes
Have you tried to reach out to them directly? Would it be in the installation guide? Do they have it posted online?

What I could find so far, it looks like they use a Koni shock. Do they use something other than an S30 shock?

Picking up a 1977 280z 6 Hours Away. Tips?
Common rust areas: under the battery, front frame rails, rocker panels, dog legs (it sounds like you have this), wheel arches (this too), slam panel under the hatch - especially the drivers side, spare tire well As for paint, take as much off the car as you can. The paint job will be cheaper and look and last better. If you can afford to do it with the glass out, even better.

You could try a WTB add in the classifieds. I don't know if that will get more views or not.

78 280z idle problem
Please don't start multiple threads on the same issue. It just clutters up things

AC not taking much refrigerant?
I agree, the best course of action is to fix the leak and pull a vacuum. the system needs to be clean and dry inside.

Steve has been resistant to making rubber pieces for the suspension. I believe the concern stems from liability. However if he were to only supply the rubber section and the owner did the DIY part, then that seems to mitigate that issue. If nothing else, Steve should be able to speak to whether his process would work for these parts.

Unless I am mistaken by the user name, Bambikiller240 is deceased and was from New Zealand before he passed.

Just what the Doctor ordered. 1977 280z
I don't really know what the process would look like. Are the rubbers that are being used to reproduce other NLA parts suitable for this application? If a suitable product is available, the molds are relatively small but a good part would be needed for making the molds

HLS30-00640 Up for Auction on eBay
Totally agree. I am not sure the car would survive the trip in one piece onto and off of the trailer. It's a shame, but when the outside looks that bad, then all the sheet metal is thin and badly corroded in the concealed spaces. You would have to have two donor cars to come up with enough panels to salvage this one. And you would basically have to take the car almost all the way apart to do it.

Could be, I think he over estimates the value of "what he's got..."

Too bad. I know what he's got too. And lot's of it! Rust... and a title... This where the problem really lies. Not very much car there to work with but the value is in the VIN

It's a shame we can't find a vendor to reproduce these. Might need a core charge for the washers, but still..
