Basically everything you need to swap over from auto to manual as for as the pedals go. These will fit in your existing pedal box. Just remove the auto brake pedal and reuse the spring and pin. These should fit all the late 260Z to 280Z models. From a 7/76 These are in really nice shape with the original coatings. minimal were on the pedal pads. Nice zinc on the bolts. still has white paint on the spring. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking. Advertiser Terrapin Z Date 11/14/2022 Price $200 Category Parts for Sale
  2. I did go down today, As it turns out the entire lower yard is closed and cleared of all cars. All the available cars (70 of them) are up on the hill just right of the office. I ran into Matt, the guy who bought the big brakes there, he was getting a 6sp transmission out of a BMW for a 510 car he has. (yellow car behind the Z) I picked a number of things until my wallet said stop. Here is what it looked like when I got there.
  3. Humorously known as the monkey motion shifter.
  4. I met some Datsun guys at the Tumwater PNP, they bought a 720 5sp transmission and it was on FB later that night for 7 times what they bought it for. He lost his 10mm socket too. 😂
  5. How about an estate auction. 3 Z's for sale. https://bid.stamplerauctions.com/auctions/catalog/id/153?page=4&_ga=2.148058039.1649377094.1667837383-65743730.1662044146&_gl=1*188exzs*_ga*NjU3NDM3MzAuMTY2MjA0NDE0Ng..*_ga_THSEH7FGP6*MTY2NzgzNzM4My43NC4wLjE2Njc4MzczODMuMC4wLjA&fbclid=IwAR1XeXxCNkZFXKdFsaUAWCmP-lAe5bIUWoW2s-1-oW2innTz_WhVsMGjdQ8
  6. PNP takes a pic of the car when they get it. Then they process it removing the wheels, oils and fuel, and place it in the yard on their stands. The wheels all go into the shop and are sold in sets for too much money. The car will be wheelless in the yard. You only find a few stock steelies and spares in the cars. Therefor someone who found this car would of course buy the struts and instantly post to FB for a tidy profit.
  7. This just popped up as well from Portland, I wonder if these are off that car? They have the right patina. Hard to tell from the one picture.
  8. I might just make the trip. I'm sure there are a lot of small trim pieces too. Portland has some car vultures though, these get picked over quick. I've been to that yard before. It is rather big. The worst part about it is huffing the parts back up the hill to the office. They got flooded out one year, I went all the way down and was turned away.
  9. Pick N Pull won't sell it as a whole, It would just be bits and pieces.
  10. When the factory started making changes there is always a threshold when some changes are in effect before others are. Like the vents. I have heard of a series 1.5, perhaps that is what yours is. Then there is the factor of what did the factory do as opposed to what some prior owner changed along the way.
  11. I know the forum likes to look at nice clean restored cars up for sale for top dollar. But as the title states "and other places" Well here is a new one from the "other places" category. These don't show up in this venue too often anymore. In NW Oregon. https://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/RNDrpvNisqJIreOFPB3Q2FuZD
  12. My guess would be the console change had everything to do with the transmission change from A style to B style. New shifter location.
  13. There were two different slave cylinders for these. Perhaps you have one of each? (I think one is NLA?) or one of each different hard lines maybe?
  14. The 2+2 NA ZX and the ZXT both had a 240mm clutch the earlier and 2+0 NA ZX had a 225mm clutch. That kit reads to me like it fits both. To me that would mean Z Car Source was selling all 240mm clutches in the "kit" as they will fit the earlier cars, but not the other way around. IE: a 225mm clutch would not work well in the 2+2 or Turbo ZX. If you are dropping the transmission again ^^ it would be another item to check, 225mm vs 240mm. I put a 240mm in my 70 240, and used the ZX 2+2 collar, works fine.
  15. Yes the 4 speed was at 12:00 and the ZX (generalization) was at 6:00. The pinion gear itself is the same for both but the holder was different as you noted. Cutting a slot was the least expensive way of application. The other option was to buy a new holder. You can still get them from Nissan. At least last I checked. As long as it doesn't leak you should be fine. No one can really see it with the car on the ground wheel side down. 😁
  16. Top secret BRE lifting tool.
  17. I did learn these SU's are H6 from a Triumph T3/T4 set up. Still no info on the manifold, might be a custom set up. They look very well made not something cobbled together.
  18. This is how I got them, I also contemplated a different arrangement, but the way the linkage is set up and the fuel lines and choke cable it looks like this would be close to the on engine set up. If I knew what they fit onto engine wise I would know the answer to your query.
  19. All good info I’ll check into more after work. I sent some pic’s off to an SU carb website as well.
  20. This is the only set up I found so far, the overall configuration looks close.
  21. I did end up getting this lot, The car buyer did take a lot of good parts, but we did find some extras that were not in the BAT lot, so it worked out. I did end up with this SU carb array. I know it is not for a Datsun, but I can't find any comparable set ups on google images. Anyone here know what it is for? Closest was a Range Rover V8 but not the same manifolds.
  22. This guy on Facebook was selling a lot of ZX parts. Looked like reasonable prices too. I do not know him or have I delt with him. I just have seen his ad's popping up recently. https://www.facebook.com/groups/327981873903624/user/100000244220750
  23. This thread is most assuredly a "Squirrel" type of thread as the latest post can call everyones attention. I just though it was a cool full circle post from a year ago.
  24. This crossed my path a couple weeks ago, at the time a 2000GT was on BAT and took everyone's attention, so this never received much conversation. The car was a RNM and ended up being sold after the BAT auction for reportedly more than the high bid to an Ohioan. The car was listed with a large amount of extra parts which this new owner picked a few parts from but left behind most of the hoard. This hoard was recently offered to my Z car club so I inquired and have a deal to get them on Saturday. It should be most of the items show in the BAT listing, I'll know tomorrow when I do and get the. The seller said they guy did not take much. I'll find out tomorrow.
