280z worm gear orientation
I have pulled engines apart where the worm gear was installed the other way by the PO.......The engine ran fine reversed. I don't think it matters other than the bevel end doesn't provide as much contact with the oil slinger. Just my guess.

240Z chrome taillamp strips
Received my set of taillight strips from Kip......the strips are molded fine, but the chrome is more like a shiney paint......JDM strips have nice original looking chrome....looks like Randy's are nice too, but haven't seen them in person yet.

Thanks Jeff.....still waiting on my good friend Russ to get his dyno moved. Iimagine it should be close to the otherL28's I've built .....around 170 rear wheel h.p. , but I'd still like to know. They're just very fun exhillirating motors to drive .....nice street motors.

Question about block/head milling for streetable upgrade
Seek out a professional familiar with the process to build the head. There is so much more to it than just shaving .080 inches......there are shims, different valves and with a different cam, rocker geometry problems as well as spring heights.

Anyone know where to find some cheap kitchen cabinets?
Don't mean to be pushy, but I've done all the searches and can't find any threads on the subject. I'm particularly interested in the Southern Wales area.

Hls30-24140
Bill.....Yes.....This Sunday in Richmond.....Eiji's coming down......come on down too. The 3:54 with ZX 5 speed turns 2600rpm at 60 miles an hour. It feels like a great combo to me.....if you've got one already, give it a try.

4.11 Rear end was fun for a while. Keeping eyes peeled for a 3.90 R180 though: I feel like an 18 wheeler shifting gears at red lights. Bill....You might want to try your 3:54 ........I love mine with the ZX 5 speed......don't forget to change the speedometer drive gear in the tranny so your speedometer reads accurately. It's a 10 minute swap....held in by one bolt. Guy

Pinion angles( driveline operating angles)
Just amazes me how critical those angles are.....a quarter inch spacer between the mount and tranny caused the problem. I wonder how many have a vibration caused by this and don't ever figure it out?
