  1. Googled R.C.Automotive (left side of tag). The EPA has them currently listed in the same address as the tag. Google maps, it looks like the office is located in a nice looking business plaza. Might be worth exploring that avenue.
  2. Hi Jeff, I did a google search for "chambers cams" Alexandria VA as well. Google is only as good as the info you give it. Very limited results as well. Sorry. I also searched the Virginia State Corporation Commission for Chambers Cams but didn't find anything. Doesn't mean that Chambers Cams wasn't a d/b/a (doing business as) and the parent entity was under another name. As a side note, the font style of the card from Chambers Cams appears to be circa 1960-1970, so perhaps it was a mom & pop shop that were in business, but have since retired and closed the business, sorry for that news to you. Wayne
  3. Hello All, I have recently completed a project that seems relevant to this thread. My objective for my z432 tribute project was to as closely as possible replicate the z432 driving experience in a LHD configuration. I started with a '72 chassis which underwent a full rotisserie restoration. For the drive train I backdated a RB20det motor with Triple Mikuni's and dyno-tuned to 209 fwhp @ 8250rpm w/ 193 ft lb tq. The motor was mated to the RB20 5 speed and a R192 4.44 LSD. Brakes were changed to the MK63 calipers in the front. The most challenging part of the project was getting the 10k RPM tachometer to work with the electronic ignition system. When the weather improves I'll post more pictures. Danny
  4. IMG_6758.mov Kats, Thanks for the kind words. The RB20 is 4 valve. And they are cheap and plentiful. I have an extra one standing by if this one blows up. The manifold was modified from a RB header imported from NZ. Here are a couple of videos. IMG_2199.MOV
  5. The shape in the panel makes it many times stronger than a flat piece of metal. Always remember car companies are always looking for ways to cut costs. If a flat piece of metal would have worked they would have never paid to make stampings to produce that panel.
  6. Seems somebody failed Chemistry class...
  7. Hi Danny , wow !!! You have done tremendous work on your Z ! What a beautifully done , and you said you put R192 , MK 63 , and even 10 x1000 Tach, I noticed Nissan badge too , I can see how hard that you have been collecting them . And you cleared the issue of the exhaust manifold, it must be a hand made , very nice . RB 20 DET is 4 valves per cylinder ,right ? So your car is 4 valves, 3 carbs , 2 camshafts , like a Z432 . The difference between RB20 and S20 is a bore x stroke, 78 x 69.7 RB20 ( L20 and VG20 too) 82 x 62.8 S20 And yours are way powerful than stock S20 ! I would like to see your car’s movie . Please keep going to show for us . Thank you for the post , it is great ! Kats
  8. It is easy to reset. Just remove the 4 bolts on the oil pump. Be sure to lower the sway bar. It usually blocks the oil pump. Looks like your Sway bar is not installed yet so it will be easy.
  9. This one is off a 73 and no hole. It is looking at the outside of the right side(on the left) and inside of the left side( on the right). If that makes any sense.
  10. You are going to need a wiring diagram. Lucky for you, one is waiting for you. But, before you download it from the download section, please read the comment to redirect you to the latest version, Revision "M". Several changes have been made since it was originally posted back in 2004 (Revision 'F'). You will only find the latest version here on this site.
  11. Happy Thanksgiving to all my "Diseazed" friends and those I haven't met yet!! Have fun, be safe and enjoy your family.
  12. Apologies for misleading you. I have the same data as supplied to you by Kats, but - I can only guess - must have made a mistake when noting your chassis number. Glad you have the correct information to hand now.
  13. Yep. ^^^^ Don't get rid of anything emissions related. And if it's broke you'll need to fix it before attempting a smog check. Lots a great advise above. Follow it. Also make sure your battery is either fully charged or a new one. And a can of starting fluid if she doesn't want to start after completing the above steps.

THIS A CONVERSATION BETWEEN A MAN AND HIS WIFE. PLEASE NOTE THAT SHE ASKS SEVEN QUESTIONS, WHICH HE ANSWERS QUITE SIMPLY. BUT THEN SHE IS SPEECHLESS AFTER ANSWERING ONLY ONE QUESTION FROM HIM WOMAN: DO YOU DRINK BEER? MAN: YES WOMAN HOW MANY BEERS A DAY? MAN: USUALLY ABOUT THREE WOMAN: HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY PER BEER? MAN: $5.00 WHICH INCLUDES A TIP WOMAN: AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING? MAN: ABOUT 20 YEARS, I SUPPOSE WOMAN: SO A BEER COSTS $5 AND YOU HAVE THREE BEERS A DAY WHICH PUTS YOUR SPENDING EACH MONTH AT $450. IN ONE YEAR, IT WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY $5400 CORRECT? MAN: CORRECT WOMAN: IF IN 1 YEAR YOU SPEND $5400, NOT ACCOUNTING FOR INFLATION, THE PAST 20 YEARS PUTS YOUR SPENDING AT $108,000 CORRECT? MAN: CORRECT WOMAN: DO YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU DIDN’T DRINK SO MUCH BEER, THAT MONEY COULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN A STEP-UP INTEREST SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND AFTER ACCOUNTING FOR COMPOUND INTEREST FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS YOU COULD HAVE NOW BOUGHT AN AIRPLANE? MAN: DO YOU DRINK BEER? WOMAN: NO. MAN: WHERE IS YOUR AIRPLANE?

Years ago Kathy asked me the dreaded question. Do these pants make me look fat? I, of course, said "No". She then asked, "Are you saying that just to make me feel better?" My response was, "I would never say anything to you just to make you feel better." We both had a good laugh and the question of clothes hasn't come up since.
  17. On the plus side, it was done to a 2+2.
