  1. Which one do you like most ? Mrs . Akita , her husband went to Italy in 1972 to buy this Dino as a new car from the Ferrari factory , he passed away some years ago then now she owns it , she used to own Miura , Daytona before she married, so Dino is easy for her . Her Dino and my ZG are almost same age , also almost same color . And , both cars are surviver , non restored cars . Kats
  2. Probably my last visit to the forum before hitting the road. Did a last pre-flight check on the 260 yesterday. Everything looking great. This car has now seen a whole three hundred miles since it was taken off the road over 20 years ago. Hitting the road for a 2000 mile trip. What could possibly go wrong? Out early Tuesday morning and we're staying in Asheville, NC* Tuesday evening and then headed to Atlanta on Weds morning. I'm assuming everyone will be at the judged show and we'll start finding people there! * I've heard there is a nice brewpub or two there.
  3. I saw on FB a couple of hours ago that he is on his way.
  4. Wanted to thank everyone here for helping me out. I am a true novice and I could never have gotten to the point I am at today without your help. I reached a big milestone today! Engine is out!!!
  5. Please give our best regards to Mr Matsuo! We hope his eye operation went well. Philip & Janet

We will miss you all...but we did a quick substitute: The Cabot Trail. We saw our first snow this year at 450m. The water was very rough due to the Hurricane remnants passing. Janet says hi!

That's a pretty piece of road. Hi, back at you both!
  8. I mounted a wheel for a test fit and it looks good. However, the car is still on jackstands for a while. @zKars had them on his 73 before me, so may be he can chime in.
  9. It’s my wife’s childhood home in Batangas and the condo is Airbnb so any time... are we picking up wheels or Asian girls?
  10. Uhem... and when are we going? ?
  11. Damn, that eBay 240z is in Wichita falls, pretty close to me! Anybody got 12k to donate to a good cause? Sent from my OP 3T using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  12. CD.....I run 16x7 Panasports with 205 55 16 rubber. No problems with clearance.
  13. Argh! A spring broke on the garage door today. The Z is trapped for now. The repairman should arrive between 4 & 8 today. I can't complain about that. It just delays my final prep on my car.
  14. madkaw, sorry to hear you aren't up to the travel. I wouldn't assume the tune up was a failure though. Might just take some time? bpilati, glad to hear you're making the trip anyway. On final countdown! Bought emergency road beer yesterday. Backup just in case all other options fall through.
  15. What was the original price? Never mind, I'm guessing $22,000 was original and you thought that was too low. You think that that car is almost to Excellent level. Pump, pump, pump it up... (90's flashback).
  16. If the green car is your 00051, that would be great!! No rear defroster, no OK sticker , and , all the glasses looked clear glass , to seeing the things through the glasses looked just it is , non tinted . What do you think of it to compare your 00051 ? Kats PS : I took my ZG today for 500 km trip to see Mr. Yamamoto ( OK Racing ) very fun to drive , I feel this car is faster than my Z432 . Maby the same if I judge them by the stop watch . But this L24 with SU / 5 speed with 3.9 rear diff , and the G nose . These things make this car so fast and quiet , stable on the highway , and fun to steer on a mountain road . Mr. K must be smiling in his yellow G nose 240Z . Why did not Mr. K give a choice for customers as a variation model in the US ? It should not be an optional parts , should be ? Cost matter ? Styling taste ? Japan is the only country where G nose is available with the car , some other destinations received as an optional parts . Kats
