  1. The headlight relay harness does not impact the parking lights at all. I posted this a few years back: The best way to keep the circuit intact (IMHO): Change all of the exterior markers and interior dash bulbs to LEDs. (You will lose the dimmer function unless you change the rheostat to a PWM, but that's a topic for @Captain Obvious to describe.) Change the 20A fuse to a 10A fuse. (This limits the current and heat build-up.) Clean the contacts (front and back) on the fusebox. (This should get rid of hot-spots in your fusebox.)
  2. What about 260Z/280Z taillights?
  3. The blue wire is the tach sensing wire.
  4. I have accessed the speedometer cable by removing the tachometer and reaching behind the speedometer. That way is probably the least amount of work.
  5. This thread describes some of the differences: https://forums.hybridz.org/topic/62919-260z-suspension-vs-240z-suspension/ Measure your rear strut tube diameter with a caliper. I can measure the ones on my 260Z for comparison.
  6. Is the car from North America? Did the European 260Zs go through the same changes as the North American cars?

From The Far Side website today...Gary Larson called it 36 years ago.
  8. This may help you. http://www.xenonzcar.com/z31/Wheels.html

On the other hand, I just came across this article: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/14/anti-inflammatory-drugs-may-aggravate-coronavirus-infection It specifically says that acetaminophen is okay. Accurate information is difficult to come by in the fog of war.
  10. Well, since there are no sports on TV to distract me, I went ahead and took out the old, dead stereo in the 260Z and replaced it with another cheap unit that has bluetooth.
  11. SUs will work nicely, and if you decide you really want EFI instead, you can convert the SUs into throttle bodies with a kit from Patton Machine. http://www.pattonmachine.com
  12. Uh oh, @Captain Obvious, I hope you stocked up. It looks like the suburbs are being cut off. https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/somber-time-not-necessarily-sober-pa-liquor-stores-to-remain-open-for-now/2326173/
  13. So does that mean you have a bidet that utilizes beer for cleaning?
  14. Have you downloaded the FSM from here? Look in my signature for a link. Also, @Captain Obvious has played with these a lot in the past. I also think that Patton Machine might have the parts to convert these into throttle bodies. Fuel injection is SO nice. :) http://www.pattonmachine.com
  15. I would not be surprised if the car started out its life as an automatic transmission car. That would indicate that the wires would be for a neutral safety switch. Assuming the car is starting now, that would indicate the circuit for that switch was bypassed during the swap.
  16. I'm pretty sure it's a BA-9 bulb, so it's likely less than 1A.
  17. This one has a small body, too: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/nkk-switches/M2011B2B1W03/360-3070-ND/4509595 It also has metric threads.
  18. This one might work better: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/c-k/T102SHZQE/CKN1549-ND/484203
  19. I received the wiper linkage today. I lined it up against my 260Z. The Suzuki linkage is not nearly as wide as the Z car linkage. At best, it could MAYBE be a source for parts, but I'm not even sure about that. I didn't test fit a blade on it. I'm just going to see if I can return it.
  20. Jim, here's another source with lots of choices: https://www.digikey.com/products/en/switches/toggle-switches/201?k=spst toggle switch
  21. I had the 280ZX distributor working on a 260Z and a 240Z with the ballast resistor. On the 260Z I later bypassed the ballast resistor.
  22. If the delivery estimates are accurate, I should have the wiper linkage by Wednesday evening. I'm going to check with a couple of local friends whom I expect have a linkage handy to compare.
  23. That's why I decided to purchase one, so we could get some clear idea of how well this would work or not work. I'm willing to be a guinea pig for this.
  24. I ordered off of Amazon. It was cheaper there than Rockauto or the chain parts stores. I'll try to remember to take photos when I get it.
  25. I took the 260Z out to a monthly car show that's not too far away from my house. It's hosted by Gateway Classic Cars. There were 4 S30s that showed up, as well as a Z32, a couple of Z33s and a Z34. After the car show, I went to lunch with @Pat Carr followed by a trip over to my favorite warehouse in Georgia. Randy is getting the Fitzy BSR 510 ready for the main show at Amelia Island next week.
