  1. Not Road America. I have worked all the left hand turns there.
  2. Thanks I just may get my Z a Christmas present. He does have them back in stock now. Not sure if a local aluminum foundry is making them. Or from overseas. Will look nice when the car goes on BaT
  3. Anyone here have the cast aluminum oil pan sold by Arizona Z Car? Any issues? Does it fit well with clearances. Been eyeing this up for some time.

  5. Has anyone ever tried upgrading the 240Z master cylinder to the 15/16 master cylinder using the stock calipers? I have Hawk HPS pads. I just never liked the cold street grip no matter what pad I used. A 20 minute track session is fine where you get some heat in the pads. Getting a 240Z to work more like any newer daily driver you might have is what I want.
  6. Not a fan of these bolt on plastic flares or their design. All the ones I see look as though they were made for a different car and a person screwed them on to a 240Z. Also, I too could never cut my fenders. I like all your other work. I see a lot of money there for sure.
  7. I live up here in Snow land and have some good friends that live in the South. I like it down there as well. I did not support those that want to remove all the Statues of people of the Southern Heritage because some were "offended" at having to view them. Now we need "safe rooms" on College campus's complete with care bears and other stuffed toys. They call it protection from others micro aggression's. Things sure have changed since I was in College.
  8. Being a Veteran, I lean certain ways on some issues. However I much disliked both candidates this last Election. I am an equal opportunity disliker. I do like Guns though!!!
  9. This is from the 1984 Datsun Competition Parts Catalog. IMSA GTU 280ZX.
  10. Mike, I sent it to you. See if this is one you do not have already.
  11. I scanned a 3 page TSB into a PDF file. Being from 1975 its a bit dirty. I would like to clean it up a bit. I can do it with a JPG photo but not sure I can do the same with a PDF. My photo editor does not do PDF's.
  12. Who is XENON online Manuals? I have these two for scanning. Or would someone on this site like to scan them and return them.
  13. Good idea. I am installing towers on a head now with .015 shims.
  14. I also have a used 1981 280ZX FSM for the asking. Better condition than the 280Z FSM I had posted above.
  15. I worked at an electrical company for years located right across the street from Pierce. I watched what seemed like weekly plant tours for prospective buyers.
  16. Always wondered if it was still around. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2014/03/25/bonnie-and-clyde-death-car-controversy-takes-center-stage-for-upcoming-anniversary/#comments-block
  17. On my bucket list is to remove this valve assy. totally from my system. I see no need. I want separate piping direct to both front and rear. Next owner can do what he wants.
  18. I just saw this car listed for sale somewhere. I will have to see if I can find it.
  19. They are supposed to be 10 -12 ft lbs. Both long and short ones the same torque.
  20. My favorite is that interior with the dark green paint. Very hard to find. Seems not too many made.
  21. Carl is correct. This was not claimed in the ad. I read this too fast. If these 50 clones were just paint only over an otherwise stock Z with the front and rear spoilers then not much added value IMO. The original pace car was modified according to Carl's website. To what degree we don't really know, I guess. I suspect they put some goodies on it from Datsun Comp Department. The blue color on this car does not even look like the blue on the pace car shown on Carl's site. This one looks like the BRE blue to me.
  22. Agreed. Same here. One reason I posted it was to get opinions. Even my red interior is way better than that one. Owner began restoration. Ha. Then finish it. I would not even list it until it was finished. Even then no $50K for sure.
  23. Saw this. Claims to be 1 of 2 built and the last to survive. https://www.motorcarclassics.com/1972-datsun-240z-c-67.htm
  24. The 76 FSM is gone & has been sent out to one of the members here. Thanks.
  25. I realized that I forgot to pull the battery so I had to drive back out to my storage unit. Now its all set till Spring.
