  1. I had some people move out of a rental I have. They left a dark room in the attic with all kinds of stuff. I don't know anyone that uses film anymore and would like to sale it CHEAP. It's Saunders stuff, 6700 & 6600 I think, enlarger and condensor maybe? Dark holding boxes, pans & GraLab timers. Stainless film containers with wooden tweezers and plastic beakers. The whole setup with a couple of microscope looking things too. If anybody knows anything about this kind of stuff and could offer some advice I would be grateful for any help. Thank you, Cliff.
  2. Crane PS20 Fireball is what I bought after a lot of reading. 1.4 OHM for the ZX dizzy I put in my 240Z. Amazon.com also. I'd read some reviews where people were saying their's were oily upon unpacking and they sent them back. My was bone dry and has been an excellent coil so far, 2 years.
  3. My 205/55-15" fit good in my opinion. Hankooks from directtire.com. the right pic at the bottom of my replies.
  4. Congratulations on running good. That filter debris looks black like broken down fuel hose. If that's what it is/was you'll be okay now that you've replaced them. Good job.
  5. I misspoke! Nobody should profit off Captain Obvious.
  6. Permanent markers and Sharpies do a good job.
  7. New info and respect for Captain, father named Fred. My Dad is named Marvin, Starvin Marvin.
  8. Welcome long time listener! Amazing you have CO's father's car. This will be well followed by all of us that know CO, at least I know I'll keep up! He has the flat tops off that car I believe. Can't wait to see what you do. Fix it up and sale it to him, you'd profit I'm sure but I don't know the history. Maybe he wanted to let it go, he has a super nice 280.
  9. Looks great! I think the camera is playing tricks too, I can't see any cross hatch on the walls. What rings are you using? Thanks, I'm just curious.
  10. Why is it called waffling? I flip pancakes over and over, waffles I just close the lid and cook them.
  11. The window sticker that was in the glove box said $3,600 in 1972 for the base car. Spoilers and rocker stripes brought it to $4,000. I got it, not running because of crudded fuel tank clog up the filters, for $2,000 a few years ago. Hubcapped in my signature below. I've got about $5,000 in it now, the other picture with Rewinds.
  12. Thank you Sir! Of all the googling I did I never thought of going to Redline's website.
  13. Would it be okay to mix Redline Gear oil 75/90 with MT-90 75/90 for my differential? I have half quarts of each left from previous changes and I want to change out the oil in a R180. Thanks for any replies, I haven't been able to find a definate answer searching the internet.
  14. There you go! That's what mine has. Thanks Greg. I've maxed out my LIKEs for today, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to like you. That's what I used to say in high school, laying with the unpopular but good looking punk rocker girls.
  15. Kats said the Japanese symbols around the elephant say pour oil into here or something like that.
  16. My air cleaner has a bracket for the choke cables. I am guessing it's a 10mm head which I believe is a 8x1.25 metric bolt. I'm not aware of any screw type threads on mine but I could be wrong. You could try one of the three 10mm bolts that fasten the timing chain inspection cover on front of the head. They're about half an inch long so I don't think they would bottom out in the places your speaking of. Just a guess at what you need so be careful on over tightening them. Good luck.
  17. Ah Greg, so funny. Some idiot has parked their car in front of my house for two days. I've got a hand full of sheet rock screws I think it needs for better traction.
  18. Classic through and through!
  19. Camel toe, moose knuckle, hog's hoof, front wedgie, there all the same. I prefer hot dog bun myself.
  20. Carl Beck's zhome.com has a rust prone areas description plus a lot more info.
  21. You should get a storage building dedicated just for Z parts. I have one with a bunch of other junk including a refrigerator out of a rental house that has all my small Z parts in it. I guess it's a little too late for your stuff now though.
  22. Thank you Mr Wenzel for the information also. I've watched all the History Channel's "Men that built America" series and never heard the info you provided, Standard Vacuum Oil Company. Thanks again, Cliff.
  23. Thank you Mr Arnett! The caps look to be the same, just different sealing methods. I'll sleep good tonight now that I know the difference. Are you storing that one cover at the bottom of the river? Just kidding. Thank you for taking the time to show the difference to me/us. Cliff
  24. He's got carbs, no injectors. I do my valves cold too then come back and check them hot. One or two may need readjustment when hot. You will have different specs for a regrind than stock cam. Find those numbers first.
