A vast 40 year distance, making life good along the way with my Z's.
Your desire to drive Redbird as a daily driver has been astounding to me, you always come up with a plan that works and saves money. You've also made a bunch of friends, although foul mouthed men like me we are friends nonetheless.

I remember back in high school my louvers rattling like "a trunk full of beer cans" some rap song by Outkast? 4 Pioneer 6907s in a homemade plywood box with a Harmon Kardon 200W amp. Had a Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck. Those were the days! No cell phones just beepers and pay phones, ancient history. That'll be on the History Channel soon, pagers.

Hold the phone, I was backwards. The centered side should connect to the S pipe. The offset should be at the bottom of the rear side. Still angled 1 to 7 though. Sorry about that, it's confusing as hell.

You lucky dog! These pics look great and I recall my 8 Ball reading, you don't need a stinky 240. I see you and Jai both use your "loubers".

Actually 1oclock is where the S pipe connects and it should tilt like 1 to 7 looking towards the rear of your car from the front of the drivers rear tire. The output is centered. That's how both of mine worked out after a lot of reading (mostly looking at pictures). I can post photos when I'm home with my PC, tomorrow morning.

My muffler slightly touched the underside of my car, rattled at idle only. The offset should be at the top of the muffler where the "S" pipe connects.

1978 280z fuel pump not getting power
His fusible link for the pump maybe about to burn in half, or need the terminals cleaned.

It keeps you young at heart to, desire that is. Jai will out live us all. I like to think I'm keeping mine as "low mileage" as possible but actually I'm so lazy I jump in my Camry instead of removing the car covers on my Zs.

Steering Rack Disassembly and Refurb
And these work good holding them in place, instead of the zip ties that come with them. ATV axle boot straps from a motorcycle shop.

If I live another 20 years there'll be one of these in my Z. I don't see how you do it Jai. Getting in is easy, just fall in, but climbing out is tough.

Another 240Z praise aritcle
I think the 240s are growing on Mr Wright. My magic 8 ball says "outlook good" when I asked if you would have one.

Thinking about installing an BMW M6 engine in my Z
Looks fantastic! I see a greenish tint, not blue. Whatever it's "ish" it looks really good.

Retrosound radio

Front end overhaul
Here's my cheap Stop Tec rotors. I'm happy with them and the ceramic pads I'm running. No brake dust or squealing. Street driving only. They have a left and right p/n.

[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
That shows your hard work pays off, not actual money but smiles and trophies. Money comes later with all those trophies and accolades.

[2017] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
Life's tough isn't it. 80F here and 1 hour on the back roads. I needed to mix the new gas with the old.

Quit calling it a pig! Rub her gently and whisper in the pillar emblem, "okay Baby Doll we gonna do this nice and slow". Chickuh, bow-wow, right now!

You're most welcome. I wish I could do more, I know you are frustrated.
