  1. When I first bought a 240 it slipped BAD. I was used to 280s unadjustable slave cylinders, those clutches worked until they were worn slap out. I read on here, as always, and found out how to adjust it. Me and Jai probably had that same "holy moly" moment. Night and day difference.
  2. Nice, I'm sure she'll never forget cruising Dad's classic sports car.
  3. Eledlighting 1st Eledlights 2nd
  4. Theres a vertical line on the distributor cap that is #1. Google 280z firing order then click IMAGES.
  5. Zoom Zoom (to the tire store) Glad your happy with the clutch. Deanna will stay pinned to the back of the seat now. Y'all both are gonna need fancy driving gloves.
  6. Is there room enough for me?
  7. If that's Hardway's facebook post I apologize for the SOB remark.
  8. Looks like a Hot-Wheel. You're losing the popular vote but we know that don't mean squat!
  9. Id need two though. Its a stick type driver, like Bobcats. I wish it had a steering wheel. I could let my galfriend run it while I do the trim. 8^) We'd get to get in bed sooner in the evenings and "wrastle".
  10. It's different. I like that. Wish we could've seen the black Rewinds with those rocker stripes. It yours, own it!
  11. I'm sorry, I don't watch/listen to much pornography. 8^( Now I know though, BOW CHICKA WOW WOW. Polyester and stack shoes were Z driving clothes. EDIT: Conedodger's Boobs thread is my porn. Maybe he can figure out how to have background music with his post? Bow chicka wow wow. That's a "wow" for each tit.
  12. GLAND, NUTS and TONGUE? Chicka dow now...
  13. Looks comfortable! Good luck with the sale.
  14. I first saw a guy do it on antique door hinges and doorknobs. I'd like to have a book of tricks and shortcuts but the infonet does pretty good. 8^)
  15. I coated the chrome writing on my emblems with Vaseline to keep the black from sticking. Horn pad to.
  16. If you haven't read it yet Hardway has a good write up on emblems. Car looks great!
  17. Me to! Are those the ones I posted? I like how they blend into the rubber on your bumpers.
  18. Seems like a lot of people are looking now. Springtime I guess. Sharp car should go quick. I'll trade you some boulders or a lounge chair for it.
  19. Take the shift rod out and look for fresh scratches above the bottom end. That's what my 5 speed did after putting in place of the four speed. The bottom gears, fourth and reverse, your shifter might not be going far enough forward when you pull it back. It will have a scratch on the front side of the shift rod right above that little plastic cup. To me it sounds like the BCDD needs adjusting if it drops when you push the clutch in. Or the throttle position vane isn't making contact with the idle side? Could be a spider web keeping it from contact.
  20. Looks good compared to my badly faded #305 blue. After you wash it remember to raise the hatch and dry off the latch area. The rain gutters on the sides don't go all the way down and water gets in. Here's my "Blue Jean Blues" faded Z.
  21. Great timing for @jfa.series1 joke. Kid digs through a huge pile of manure because he knows "there's gotta be a pony under there!"
