Show is vendor "THE UNOBTAINIUM"
CO your "bold" statement is from eBay as part of their explanation of what a new part is. The ad states "reproduction with production quality" at the bottom of the graphic text. If you look through the feedback you see unhappy as well as happy buyers. Some say the parts broke in their hand and UNOB made them a new one.

Wheel Hub Differences
I have a used 280z hub i'd sell.

Wheel Hub Differences
It looks like that lip rides over the step on the spindle. The seal is farther in. I agree with Zed a debris shield. Functionally it keeps dirt off the seal, which could potentially fail and release grease on the brakes.

Wheel Hub Differences
Just looking through the ones on eBay they look to all have the lip style. Like your second pic. The one looks shorter, perhaps it is like Zed says ground down. Could just be the picture.

Booster & MC compatibility
@Yarb The OP has a 70 240Z but with a F54 280 engine. So sort of both. I think he has swapped in a 280 booster and M/C but is having issues. @240z70 They did change the M/C around as to F and R so make sure your lines are correct. The check valve is one way, but it sounds like you had it on correctly with the woosh, of air when disconnecting.

Booster & MC compatibility
I am pretty sure you would have to drill out new mount holes for the bigger Boosters. I have heard of people using all of those sizes with the Clutch M/C. Are you sure the reaction disc is in place? is can cause some strange pedal / brake function if it has fallen off the plunger.

Parts Wanted: Lower Fan Shroud for 73 240z
Of course it is your car and will be your shroud when you find another one. I would suggest you do not cut up another metal one and take the time to put it on whole. It functions better as designed for full coverage. Cutting up a fiberglass one is not as bad, but might look odd. Best of luck on the search and end result.

Parts Wanted: Lower Fan Shroud for 73 240z
The pictures do help with the analysis, As CantechZ says it looks like someone has cut it in half.😒 It also looks like you are missing the small guard that sits above the fan attached to the top center of the radiator. You can see it in Cantech's picture as well. Those full shrouds are hard to install, very tight fit. Perhaps that explains the copped off bottom. They do come up for sale from time to time. That's how I found mine, just lucky I guess. I have a fiberglass one as well. With the economy they way it is I see a lot of items for sale, high priced but being offered nonetheless. Keep on the lookout.

Parts Wanted: Lower Fan Shroud for 73 240z
Post a picture of the top half, and the radiator.

Parts Wanted: Lower Fan Shroud for 73 240z
Of course I could be wrong here, but I am pretty sure the 240 metal shroud has always been one piece metal. There were some one piece fiberglass ones sold aftermarket The 260 - 280 was two piece plastic as you stated and show in the picture. That makes me interested to see the upper half you mentioned.

280z Master Cylinder Heat Shield Picture Request
Looks functional, well done. I wonder if road vibrations might stress crack the one riser piece. The stock one looks folded up for support. Interesting to tap the EGR block off for booster vacuum.

280z Master Cylinder Heat Shield Picture Request
Your pic's helped me Greg, At least I know what I am looking for in the bottoms of bins. lol It had been bagged with the brake line clips and clamps.

280z Master Cylinder Heat Shield Picture Request
In these pic's it looks like my assumption was incorrect. The lower mount is much higher than those holes on the rail. Perhaps it comes off the brake valve.
-
280z Master Cylinder Heat Shield Picture Request
Well I don't have one so I can only guess. I think it would wrap the rail in an L fashion. The was another threaded hole on the side too, perhaps a three point mount? Then the two tabs stick out into the bay, to bolt the shield to. IMO

280z Master Cylinder Heat Shield Picture Request
With having two heat shields and two top brackets I thought for sure I would have a lower one. So far I have not been able to find it. Maybe the rust out. There are welded nuts in the frame rail above the tension rod mount. On my 75 the forward one had the brake line clamp. the rearward one is unused.

NOS Datsun 240Z parts
I've seen a lot of hoard NOS parts come up for sale lately. The prices are indeed high, but every now and then a deal comes along. You have to be on your game to get the good deals. A sign of the times? eBay charges 13% off the total price which includes the shipping and the taxes they charge the buyer, which is rather underhanded. As long as you are in the part right you can still make something off the sale. You do get a larger customer base, and more secure transactions.
