Back to the paint shop (sigh).........grrrr
Yes, it's back to the paint shop. After leaving the paint shop for the auto shop, the car was place on a lift and examined. Guess what was discovered? All the surfaces that face the ground was not painted properly, some merely coved in overspray. Anyone car to guess why? That's right, the painter was too lazy to bend over to get the bottom surfaces. You would have to lay on the ground to look up under the car to see this screw up. Am I frustrated after waiting 3 years for this car to come out of the paint shop? You damn straight I am. :disappoin This is absolutely outrageous! I'm beginning to think I'll never get this car back.

Synthetic Leather Seat Covers on Ebay
I purchase all the seat components from Les, and have completed one seat. So far is lookd pretty good, though there is a little wrinkle down the seat back. I need to replace support strap, since the stuff I used to fix it the first time seems to crack with age. What I used was similar to the original but not quite as thick nor covered in nylon.

Daniel Stern Lighting-headlight upgrade
Yeah, I was going to mention Dave's wiring harnesses, which allow you to go with upgraded lighting systems. The harness I bought from him is an extremely clean installation and good quality.

Understanding a Weber Side Draft Carburetor Through a Fictional Supposition.
Well the SU is a variable venturi, constant velocity carb. So theoretically the air volumetric flow rate varies proportional to the fuel flow (i.e., tapered metering pin and orifice), while the air velocity remains constant through the range. The intent is to give your smooth power throughout the range. Fixed venturi carbs have multiple jets, mutiple venturis (barrels) to adjust to changing engine requirements. Air velocity changes with demand.
