  1. Finally, I printed them on the gasket material. Perfect match! Next project is to make a blanking plate for the cold start injector. I’m not going to use that with the Haltech. Cold start enrichment can be programmed in. They look pretty good don’t they?
  2. In more news, my Katool 4 post lift should come in the next week!
  3. Ok, exciting news. Well, exciting for me anyway. It was a steep learning curve, getting a whole lot less than fluent, but sufficient in AutoCAD. I drew up the gaskets necessary to attach the throttle body spacer to the stock 280Z intake manifold. I then converted them to SVG files and printed up the gaskets on plain paper (gasket material is more expensive and I don’t have a lot of it hanging around).
  4. On another note, I figured out my headlight issues. So the H4 LED's I have are interesting. This is the typical H4 pin locations So when I attached power to the ground location on the LED and tested the other pins the Hi's and Lo's work fine. But they also work fine no matter where I attached the power into the bulb. Very strange So the Phenolic at the bulb has these labels I decided I would wire it this way. Power in on the right side and high beam (red w white) on the left hand side. I then took the other headlight out and made it match. Now everything works as it should. The indicator is on in high beam and completely off in low beam. Another thing off the list

  6. Sure, there's lots of potential downsides with buying from aliexpress, although Sherryberg are quite a well known brand, even though you've not heard of it. The internet is full of reports of Pertronix being junk, and that's been my experience too. Conversely I know a couple of people who have the Sherryberg distributor and are very happy. This is not rocket science - I find it more surprising that a long standing US brand manages to make a product that fails so often, than that a cheap chinese brand manages to make one that works reliably.
  7. Could this be it that I posted a couple of years ago?
  8. I’m pretty golden in 2D in AutoCAD. Pretty sure I’d need help with any 3D design.
  9. I then matched them up to the spacer to make sure they’d work and they will!
  10. I cant see as the images arent that great but it doesnt look like it. So it looks like im in the clear. thank you. I think i'll sell these and it it should basically pay for the the entire purchase. https://www.ebay.com/itm/362788048942

The lines are pressurized with the lines connected correctly. So the spraying would be normal. The hose that connects to the fuel pressure regulator is the return line. The supply line connects directly to the rail.

Gentlemen, Keep Chiming in. I need to know who else has lost their mind devoting their life to these S30’s. It’s a passion and personally I love it!

The fuel pump doesn't prime in the early EFI. I don't think that came until the ECCS system of the 280ZX Turbo. In the 280Z the AFM has a switch that "senses" air flow and enables the fuel pump - no air flow, no pump, so the engine has to be making vacuum and sucking air through the AFM. Safely First.
  14. If it was mine I'd put the old parts back on and see if the new problem goes away. Those electronic ignition modules are sensitive. Might be damaged or it might not not really like the 3 ohm coil. Have to put the old parts back on to be sure. Good luck.

Please stay close. The forum needs the expertise, experience and trials and tribulations!!
  16. I would not use any adhesive on the hatch glass seal. If it needs sealing later you can lift the edge of the seal and add a thin bead there
