  2. Not being pushy or rude...anyone offering free stuff is always welcome... ...odd that you couldn't post in the marketplace...
  3. Very nice Mally...I might have added: that certain sound in 2nd gear when you hit the powerband and she just growls away...
  4. Careful...I derided 2+2's once and got slammed by someone whose 2+2 is much nicer than any of my cars...
  5. Outstanding job. Welcome to the board.
  6. Malicious mischief, vandalism, then a guy I dated turned up dead plus his wife. Conjugal visits can sometimes be arranged as brief, out-of-prison furloughs. The first meetings for marital consummation are usually arranged within one (1) week of the marriage, and visits can last for up to four (4) days. How long the marriage lasts, however, is up to you. Ah...dream girl
  7. Hmm...bizarre... Here's a complete photo of one in "Dallas" colours... Got some of the following details off an auction results site about the sale of another car: 1981 DATSUN SPARTAN CONVERSION SOLD: 17400 CONDITION: 3 ONLY 85 MADE, ORIGINALLY SOLD FOR $66,000. TWO OWNER CAR, T TOP, ALL POWER, NISSAN ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN. OWNERS OF VEHICLES LIKE THIS ONE INCLUDE TELLY SAVALES, JOAN COLLINS AND EDDIE MURPHY ENGINE - 6 CYL EXT COLOR - WHITE Wow. Buy this one and you could be like Kojak!....who loves ya baby...
  8. Chad, Welcome to the board and the world of Z's. Your experience with the first car is not uncommon. My first Z purchase was advertised as only needing brake lines. Once we got the car up on a hoist, we found out with mild pressure you could put your fingers right through the rear of the unibody (behind the seats). Luckily the seller was a stand-up guy and took the car back. Since then I've added 3 and plan for more. Have fun with the resto!
  9. How about some of the cars for sale? The Ghibli that was owned by the Shah of Iran: http://www.mat.fi/forsale_1967maseratichibliss.htm Or Stalin's ZIS: http://www.mat.fi/forsale_1949zis110.htm
  10. You both have it wrong...the thread should be who has personally logged the most Z miles in the driver's seat/as an owner (I'm a baby in that regard < 10K). We could subdivide this into two categories: 1) single Z ownership 2) multiple Z ownership...
  11. Welcome aboard...
  12. Sweet Jesus...good for you! Note to self...Must find a way to put local Nissan dealer out of business...
  13. Congrats on the addition...and on a wife who will do a spark plug run (how cool is that???)...
  14. There is a Wick Humble in Chico, CA. Only one I could find. Details below if anyone is really interested in chasing him down. 1163 E 7th St Chico, CA 95928-5903 (530) 891-3000
  15. No structural issues? I assumed you cover the holes with a center cap...
  16. Found these on CL. I've never seen wheels with multiple configurations/drillings such as these. Is this for real?
  17. Actually, go to carfiche.com to download factory service manuals for most series Z's.
  18. Bart! Welcome to the club! You will find almost any information you need here. There are a number of experts (American and elsewhere) that should be able to help with any information you need. Use the search function at the top of the page if need information on a specific topic. If you can't find it, start a new thread in the right technical area and you'll usually get answers very quickly. And don't worry about your English... 1) it's fine, 2) we have a number of international members, 3) some of the English members are sometimes challenged by the language. Cheers!
