  1. sjcurtis I dont think all that crud could have come from dodgy fuel stations!! I think a rusted tank is a far more probable cause... I wonder if he'll drive differently with clean lines?!
  2. ROFL It's *mostly* a complement, I think.
  3. I was laughing because the orange is so glossy, every filter I've seen to date has been faded and matte! I wasn't commenting about the floorpans because I expected rust, I wanted to see them to see what they're MEANT to look like! hehe
  4. oh my oh my oh my oh my but .......... how do the floorpans look? Really is a time capsule thing! Didn't realise the air filter is meant to look like that! What's that device just next to the radio, sticking out from the console into the driver's well?
  5. thats what i thought! I took the hose immediately before the filter off, and this is what I found... I guess I'll have to get the fuel lines flushed out!

I had the same problem with a snapped bolt, except my car was running... I took it to a mechanic and he charged 10$ to take it out and put a new one in. Sometimes time is worth more than money!!!:cheeky:
  7. the crud that came out of the filter when I disconnected it.
  8. OK, took the filter off today (finally got time to find a Z92) and cut it open. A picture tells a thousand words... Tomorrow i will plug on the new filter and report back with the results. Cross your fingers for me!
  9. hhahahahahhahahhahahahahhaha i love it!!!
  10. What??? You're stealing our Z's! Go away!!! ROFL Congrats on your buy, from the pics it seems like a verrrry nice piece of kit. Have you seen it in person? A bit risky if you haven't, don't you think?

  15. My 240K is registered as a 240C.......... mmmm they weigh more, I wonder if I can get back 30 years worth of overcharge?
  16. It's just a pity you'd have to move to America to find such an awesome deal like that. :tapemouth *runs* Congrats on your find, looks to be a beautiful car. Is that no dash cracks I see???
  17. That looks nice, but what does the front of the wheel look like? ROFL
  18. If you're buying new tools like spanners and screwdrivers etc. I highly recommend the brand METRINCH. They're a bit pricey but my uncle bought me some for my birthday(s) and they're really quality stuff. I expect them to last my lifetime, and if not, they have a lifetime guarantee anyway. They have both metric and imperial sizes in them, hence the name, Metr-inch.
  19. YELLOW??? I swear the one in the show was red...
  20. Cars, like ships, have been decided to be female. This is all good and fair if you own a Mazda 121, but cars like a Viper or HSV I personally would not call a "she". "He" seems much more appropriate. Its the same for my Z, but I guess other Z's could be female, depending on how you drive them and how proud (ie loud) it is. I call cars different sexes depending on its personality. However in most languages (like George pointed out) the car is female. e.g. in Italian it is 'la macchina'.
  21. I agree. The Testarossa is an absolutely astounding looking car. Totally menacing. One of my dream cars, up on the top 5 list of Ferraris if I ever had to buy one.

I stated my opinion, but I will not argue. :classic: :tapemouth (because it is not my argument)
  23. Dont be sorry, it's a good thing. I'm just repeating what people have said. Doesn't mean I believe it or disbelieve it
