Nice solution! When I bought mine there ws a 12x8 or so piece of cardboard laying on top of the battery to accomplish the same thing.

I was just about to say that!! Anyhow, I was there all last week and will be going back tomorrow for another week.

Plus if you look at any of my posts you'll see I don't really talk that way. I was doing it to be a bit funny...clearly it failed for some and not for others. Oh well. Anyhow, I'll keep my eyes open for some Z cars while in CA. I wanted Calli peeps to hollar at me to see if there was a way to catch dinner with some and maybe see their Z. I don't get to travel too much so it's nice to actually meet people you have come to know in the virtual world.

I found a wire harness that is possibly for a 240Z electronic fuel pump. The part number is 24015 e8200 and I was wondering if anyone here can confirm or deny what this harness is for...I just want to know before I buy it if it will work on my 1970 240Z that I need do the RX7 fuel pump upgrade in.

I've seen these before though never on the car, always in a pile of parts...in fact I believe I just sent one to the recycler last month. Clunks could be U-Joints or mounts or even the diff arrester strap. Check them all.

I did!! He ended up posting a craigslist ad to which I responded and through a couple of exchanges I asked if he was ZXMan and it was! Just luck really. He said he had been out of town and things had fallen apart such as his website...he's working on getting things back on track though. I'll probably be seeing him in the near future to get a couple parts. All this just happened this past Friday too!!

Good to see you back here! We met at a car show in Round Rock a few years back...loved your car then, even wanted the engine for myself! Can't wait to see it again when you are done with the changes. I even remember you yanking some parts from a DFW junk yard for me and bringing them to Austin when you came to visit someone.

There's someone that goes by ZandZXMan or maybe it's just ZXMan. He was in the NE part of the country a couple years ago then moved to Texas.
