I also have the fidenza flywheel. With the 220mm clutch i found it a bit annoying as a daily driver and the clutch didnt hold my 270bhp. So i changed for the 240mm Exedy and first it holds and is a mutch nicer Combo to drive. Still snappy.

The time it takes depends on your pocket. If you have time it will be repaired when the workload is lower. As an example my first offer was 80000$ just for the body no paint. When you wait you pay 20000$ what is better?

Im so with you Mine was also repaired/patched in Switzerland over the rust... When I started to rebuild mine I looked at your posts at jdmjunkies and thought you are far ahead of mine (your white one). Now you go through all the things i went through the last 3 years and I don't think I would have the energy to do it again. I hope you will stay at your project and don't stop. It is a blast to drive when you're done with everything and you know I did everything every screw is "new", the gears change nicely because i did rebuild the gearbox and so on. It pays back that way. I agree simple stuff first. I would say Temp is fine Idle to low and thats it. The engine behaves like that, (jump from 400 to 8-900 and back down ) when idle to low. Put the just idle higher to 900 and look how it behaves.

If you want to make your own plate, I made a Windows font with all the relevant letters and numbers. The font will be called 240Z after you installed it (just unzip and double click...) Or use my jpg or dxf 240Z.zip AMPPLATE5b.dxf

As far I remember I have with my 2.75 stroked 2.4 and 45 OER Ignition max advance 36 Venturis 37.3 Idle 60F9 Main 145 Air 155 Emulsion Tube F11 and the AFR is between 10.4 and 13.4 with those.

LiFeYPO4 means Litium ferrum Yttrium Polimer (Phosphor) the ferrum gives the security as far i remember I read a lot about it a while ago and I will give it a shot. In a few month when the car is done. Of course I will again research bofore i buy but it will be a litium...... one

I fully agree with madkaw. I'm already at 30K without the bodywork. just engine, differential, gearbox, front/back suspension and 4 disc brake system, Interior in leather and powdercoating everything possible.

We had the FS5C71A installed in europe. No FS4W71A like in the US.

Yes, Green to the relay(87) and ignition to relay(86) like on the pic. but you know, if you have an accident, you have to switch off ignition to stop the pump. just saying.
