  1. Jerry I spoke with my Mom a few minutes ago and she'll have to find out where but my nephew is going to Virginia after the 4th to do a job. We might get lucky and have him haul it to you? As soon as she finds out I'll let you know. I need something for my 240 too now than I think about it. Two hvac slider knobs. I have the screws in the slide levers now but those knobs disintegrated to small pieces of plastic when I first used them.
  2. Maybe with the enlarger I could fool some girls? That would only work online, sexting I think the kids call it.
  3. I'm already using one of the big ones to soak my grills two grates before cleaning. If somebody grew plants they would make good starter trays, I'm guessing.
  4. MSA has a nice seatbelt for the early 240s. Motor sports auto, google "240z msa"
  5. My zip is 35901 if you want to check around shipping for maybe a lower rate. Cliff
  6. There's a pack of 8x10 something wrapped in black plastic in the black paper safe. Another pack of 8x10 white sheets in the yellow box with 4 shelves, some kind of storage container?
  7. I weighed it all, 105 pounds. Then added 10 pounds for the boxes and packing filler, probably a little too high though. Anyway fedex and ups are about the same, fedex slightly cheaper but about $1.00 per pound using a 30"x30"x12" box. I just plugged that in to get the quote, if you think it would be cheaper sending separate boxes I'll let you figure the price. It's 479% humidity downstairs and I couldn't stand anymore. I'd guess 110 pounds thinking about it now. Look at the pictures and see if you want it all or just the enlargers and the lens and those stainless containers with racks inside them. There's some kind of black bracket that weighs a pretty good bit but I have know idea what it is so look, pick and choose then let me know. I'll have to find some boxes over the holiday. Long story short, all this is going to cost you about $115, maybe more or maybe less?
  8. just an FYI. In Alabama you just show up and pay, they can write a bill of sale on a napkin if it's a '75 or older. No titles for cars 1975 and older. You can go to North Carolina's DMV website and see what their laws are. There sounds like a problem going from MA to NC apparently or he would have already registered it? Talk to the owner and find out why. Also in Alabama your insurance on your other cars will carry over to the new purchase for 10 days. I would think the bill of sale would also be good for ten days until you get it back home to register it there, no need to keep registering it.
  9. What's the clutch pedal to the floor measurement, 8.25"? 0ff the top of my head maybe 7.25"? 280 right?
  10. There you go again, answering a question with a question. You rascal. 8^)
  11. I thought the same. They recognize Bradley the photographer but not Eiji?
  12. The one all over your FB page. I apologize if I'm wrong but you're being somewhat cryptic in the last few post? I'm just pulling out my Colombo cigar and chewing around for fun.
  13. None of the carpets in my '72 are held down by anything, easily removable. Have them look under the seat mounts, that's where mine is the worse. Also the sill where the hatch latch is, far left and far right. There is a vin number engraved on the firewall under the driver's side windshield above the brake booster. It should be the same as the vin tag by the driver's defrost vent. Good luck, we all like a satisfied buyer even though it's an RB swapped motor. 8^( Different strokes for different folks.
  14. So that red 300 is your's! I'm buying a drone sometime soon so I'll have that.
  15. Try using the forums " Member Map" up top below the address bar. You could probably find someone close to a car you're wanting and like Zed Head says pay them some money and have them check it out.
  16. You are right, I miss a lot of that kind of stuff. Personally I would never buy a car "siteunseen". Airplane ticket at least for a $15,000 purchase.
  17. Also look around the water pump, behind the fan. Those gaskets are tricky to get in place and the bolts are all different lengths. Could be a loose bolt around the pump or that gasket? Glad you got to drive it. That always helps my procrastinating.
  18. I'll get it all together Saturday. Those large trays and a couple of other things I will take pictures of and send them to you to see if you want them too. I would think shipping charges would be close to their cost? I'll let you make that decision though. Back with you tomorrow with photos.
  19. The other buyer that wasted his time may have found something that wasn't disclosed? I'm being critical with my comment but I feel like you should really go over the car, drive it long enough to see if it over heats or loses oil pressure. I don't know anything about those motors but the way he's messing with you I'd be extra careful. My .02$ worth.
  20. You pay shipping and it's yours. Maybe someday I may need something from your Z stash? Give me this weekend to figure the best way to box it up securely, I'll weigh it and get your zip code then a shipping quote and send a PM with the info. Thank you! Cliff
  21. Run a fuel line from the bottom of the fuel filter into a 2.5 gallon fuel jug. Bypass the dirty fuel tank. If it runs bungee cord the jug tight and try driving around the neighborhood. If it stays running you'll need to clean the fuel tank. That's what I did and it runs fine now. We're here if that doesn't work. 8^)
  22. I consider it free advertising. I've got mine and am not a flipper so the more hype the better in my opinion.
  23. How about handsome? Gotta be a little less since it's for us old ugly guys.
  24. Good article. We are no longer grease monkeys. Now we're INVESTORS, yay!
  25. It keeps us young, thinking and remembering. eyemknotgelis
