  1. $60 bucks. https://www.google.com/search?q=Standard+Motor+Fuel+Pressure+Regulators+PR124&rlz=1C1BOFA_enUS494US494&oq=Standard+Motor+Fuel+Pressure+Regulators+PR124&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69i61l2&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  2. That sucks Bob. 8^( You would make a great fuel rail too. When I can do something with decent results someone like you could make a show piece.
  3. I wonder why it has a 4 speed? And why the spare tire well is yellow? Google ZAP 280Z. They were yellow with similar striping. What's the door tag say? Date of manufacture. Could be a '77 ZAP??? Still a rare find no matter what it is. Congratulations!
  4. He's making a fuel rail. He needs the single inlet '78-'83 for the rear of the rail to the return hard line.
  5. Try googling that. Amazon may have it? I'm using my phone and it's limited capabilities.
  6. I found my receipt from rockauto.com. Ultra Power p/n UPR PR8 $34.79 in 2012.
  7. I'm trying to figure out why you can't use a '78 fpr. Is the zx different?
  8. Try advance auto parts and use a coupon code. 20 to 30% off from retailmenot.com and advance pops up a 25% sometimes for online orders. You order online and choose in store pick up to avoid shipping cost. Takes a couple of days though. I've done it many times. Good luck. Can't wait to see that fuel rail. 8^)
  9. Something else to consider. A aftermarket din cd head unit would require some cutting to get it installed. I've butchered a few 280s doing this. Your plastic may not all be there for the OE radio?
  10. You have that right! Those are some pretty high prices to pay for a vintage car. We are lucky, in about 40 states in the US you have the option of getting an authentic tag from the year of manufacture. For my '72 I had to buy an actual tag from the year 1972 and register it but I will never have to pay again. I guess the way they see it is you've paid taxes for so many years you shouldn't have to keep paying?
  11. I would apply some stain or at least a water resistant sealer.
  12. Love you original owners! I have a one eared teddy bear my Mom says I have had since I was born.
  13. That's fantastic! Keep up with this forum as much as you can and you'll be surprised at what you learn, whether you like it or not. My most helpful info, thanks @240260280 http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/
  14. That's a great start! Glad you've shared with us on classiczcars.com. you'll find more info on here with helpful folks than the other sites IMHO. Black Pearls are going up, lucky you! Ask anything, you'll get many replies I promise. Welcome to the forum. Edit: 99% of the problems are old fuel. Put a a cheap clear Fram G3 fuel filter right out of the tank before the fuel pump.
  15. Yep, we all know they're 4 lug. The photo was just a round about image quickly nabbed I would imagine.
  16. That looks great! Congratulations.
  17. My reply vanished? Read this... http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/EFI&fuel.htm I see there is a hide button. Whats the Purpose Of That On A Reply And Why Are All My Words Getting Capitalized? Something weird is going on?
  18. Damn! That was a great deal. But it isn't a '72 judging by those pillar emblems????
  19. Soda or sand blast?
  20. I check searchtempest.com every Monday. I wasn't looking either and wound up with three. Luckily sold one and made double what I paid. The other two are downstairs and worth 10 times what paid. Buy one, you can't go wrong. Of course you should let us critique to death.
  21. You have an obligation to post pictures you know! Congratulations I hope?
  22. Record high for the last few days here. Global warming is fake news.
  23. I wrapped a whole 2.4 motor I bought off craigslist with shrink wrap from Lowes. If I remember right it was about $20? Worked great for a year or so until I tore it down. Carbs and all, no spider webs or anything like that.
  24. Don't/ doesn't from our Texan member. dogon from our most southern member. EDIT: We all makes mistakes.
