  1. He switches hands too!!! You go Bruce. The reach around with that new helmet. Chicka dow wow...
  2. I'm not positive on this but when you put a volt meter on the batteries post it should read 14.50 volts with the car running. If it's more you have a bad voltage regulator. The gauge most likely isn't bad it's something else. Don't get tunnel vision on the gauge. Thanks Zed Head. You always come up with a better answer. We could open a shop... Sanford and Son.
  3. Sounds like an alternator problem to me. Fuses pop before causing damage up stream therefore you should always use the recommended fuse. Never go higher. I had a bad alternator that burnt my fuse, none of gauges worked. The internal voltage regulator went bad. Have you upgraded the alternator? I think after these years of using mr irwins upgrade without issue you can rule that out.
  4. I think the lock down bolt hole would strip out too. I tighten until it stops.
  5. My '77 has the folding ones. '72 has the solid. Add to that, the folding ones go in the tool pouch under the deck for the space saving spare they did in early '77. Solid ones go in the tool compartment behind the seats for 240s. I put a fire extinguisher in the one behind the passenger's seat. Tire stuff is in the one behind driver's seat. It has a sticker showing the correct placement on the lid. I know you know this. I'm super bored. Sorry
  6. Poor headset!
  7. I use a ratchet strap Zed Head, works great.
  8. Design it and have some printed out. https://www.sculpteo.com/en/materials/metals/slm-aluminum-material/
  9. Sounds good! A little early to book my room though, you know that live day by day thing I like to do.
  10. I was talking in tongues last night, feeling it today too. 8^(
  11. Zippee ah doo dah!
  12. P.s I think the world of you Dennis. You're one of the few that know me. We'll shake hands one day! Hopefully at your place.
  13. Yes I do. Just the glass. I'll eventually go to a local glass supplier but they won't have the beveled edge. I have a stick on 3" round one now so no rush until zcon 2019 when I'm coming for Zup's belt! HAHa. What about this Alabama game? I'm enjoying this with some beers. How are the snow drifts at Arrowhead Lake? Its 60 degrees here. Cliff
  14. I like googling the vin #. You'd be surprised at the videos that pop up where they are beating the hell out of the cars in the past. The internet doesn't forget after 5 years like insurance companies do.
  15. I've heard the one against guns don't kill...forks kill people. Pretty funny to me. Obesity is a HUGE (pun intended) cause of death down here.

Wouldn't it mount in front of the A/C condenser? My '77 has factory air but no extra fan.
  17. Do you have a replacement mirror for the driver's door? '72 240, housing is good I need the beveled mirror. Thanks for any reply.
  18. Dull side down. Reminds me of the brother on "Better Call Saul".

YES!!! You are so right. I'm trying to do better but it's hard. My humor is as dry as a weeks worth of whoring.

    Banzi Motorworks.
  22. This is funny. It's an old prank phone call to Tom McCanns shoe store. Some foul language always makes things funnier. Leroy Mercer - Damn Boots.mp3 The story of the real guy, not the radio DJ that got sued.
  23. It was on http://topclassiccarsforsale.com/datsun/525684-1970-datsun-240z-sports-car.html for $32,500.
