  1. Do you have sample photos of both types on your series car?
  2. Sure, I think that's a lot more practical. :-P Neat looking car though, I remember seeing these on the road back in HS.

Hi peterb, it's tough to give a value on a car unless we have some additional information. Can you send some specfiics about the car such as mileage, condition, matching serial numbers, VIN, and any work that's been done on it? You can also upload photos to this forum post and this will give us a great starting point. Let me know if you have any troubles sending over this data. Thanks! Mike
  4. Ran across this today, a great little snipet with mention of Mr K and the early Datsun's... <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/2AmmaZeRoFE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This was announced at Branson Z fest this year . The Oklahoma Z car club will be sponsoring Midwest Z fest 2011 Oct 13-15 here in Midwest City , OK. We have a hotel lined up and reserved already. We are getting a website made so people can register and book a hotel room. Midwest City is a few miles just east of Oklahoma City. www.okzcc.com is the local website for the Oklahoma Z car club.

  11. This post is a very old one, from 2008. It was a bit of drama, and I remember we were almost dragged into court over it. No reason to hash up an old and distant memory over this thing. I'm locking the thread. Always always always make sure to protect yourself when performing online transactions. The best way to do this is to use a service like Paypal, a credit card, online broker, or some kind of or even better perform the transaction in person. Online transactions can be a very good way of doing business, but, you always have to watch out for someone who promises to send something and they don't actually send it. I am going to post a very good article I found on Craigslist transactions, which, are exactly the same kind of transactions that occur on any website. Link HERE. Mike
  12. Somehow I don't buy it. Trying to explain that her house was a mess to a group of men with full camo and guns? Probably just as believable as Pakistan claiming they didn't know Osama was in there country...

  17. Zweetness!! Congrats. Was it the blue one?
  18. I'll see if I can lock out his IP address. But most likely he's probably one of 1,000 employees in a single building somewhere overseas. There's a lot of this going around the net and unfortunately too many people to fall into their trap. That's why they keep doing it. I applaud you for thinking twice about thus guy (or girl). I have several warnings, just like Craigslist, warning people to never ship a car or a product without payment first. In my case I found a really awesome stroller for my kid. I contacted the poster, and he/she told me they were out of Portland. I then asked to cone by and take a look. I was soon told they have no storefront because the products were so inexpensive. They wanted to save me money. After becoming suspicious, I went to the next step. He/she asked me to drive to my local target where I could buy some kind of cash transfer card. A few days later and a trip to target ( I didn't actually buy the card), I replied back to this person saying I was ready. He/she then said great and send me a tracking number. It seemed legit. I was then asked to provide the registration number and password for the money card. I then said wait for the tracking to show up at UPS. Nothing. A day later. No updated info on the tracking. It just said invalid number. I then emailed this person and he/she got very upset. They threatened me, said things related to how long their business has been around, how they couldn't afford to tarnish their reputation, etc etc. I then forwarded the emails, Hostnames, and other data to the Feds. About a week later I emailed that same address, no such user. Interesting.

  22. I'm confused about these events, was the MSA show part of the Irvine C&C?
  23. Very nice! Wish I could have made it to the bash. Can you guys upload your photos into our gallery? I have been collecting photos every year from MSA and it appears you guys have some nice photos. Here's a link to the gallery where we put them: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=3675 Putting them on our site will assure the photos last forever, because people move flickr accounts all the time and we'll lose the photos. Click on the link "Upload Photos" on the upper right menu bar. Thanks!!
  24. I've spent a lot of time in Broward! Hey, blooster, did you add this to our event calendar? See the Events link on the top menu and it will show up on the front page until May 1st.
  25. Excellent! I can't wait to pull my yellow ride out of the garage!
