There is a PDF version of "How to Restore Your Datsun Z-Car, Second Edition: Covers Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z" on Amazon now -- it was set to release last week but it looks like it's been pushed by a week. https://www.amazon.com/Restore-Your-Datsun-Z-Car-Second-ebook/dp/B0F24ZJS7D

1973 Rebuild
I have dealt with dust boots on master cylinders like that in other applications and have sometimes had troubles getting them to fit through the hole in the firewall. Not sure if that's because they had swelled over time or if they were poor fitting aftermarket items. Bottom line? Maybe measure the hole in the firewall and see if you even have room for a boot in there before you scour the universe looking for one?

You will probably bee surprised how it pops out. I’ve removed quite a few. There’s also a seal inside the cog shaft that prevents oil going into the cable. The ring and seal are still available.- Car won’t crank
As @Zed Head said, pull the spayed ign. Off the terminal and measure the voltage. Black to Gand and red on the spade turn the key to start.- Brake booster and cams
I think you are perfectly fine- Blinker won't stop even when car is off
Are you sure? The diagram shows a left side and a right side, from the Hazard switch. It's a 78, I didn't look at any other diagrams. The Hazard switch is basically a gate between power and the flasher, and the lights. Since the flasher comes in to play the short to power has to include the flasher circuit. Basically it's just completing the circuit, like a short across contacts inside the switch. Interesting problem. For what it's worth, I erased about three different paragraphs about this problem. Writing about it does help the brain work...- Ads attacking!?

I really hoped the holiday weekend might create distraction enough to get for a little better price...Not to be.. David Spillman- New WAI Starter Motor From Rock Auto
Discussions about what starter is better than others and how rebuilt starter's quality can be hit or miss have popped up from time to time. The starter on my 79 zx was getting slower and without even checking it with my multimeter I knew it was time to install a new one. I opted for the WAI new starter from Rock Auto. ($150.00 ) It arrived well packaged, including bench test results and really looked like a quality made part. I installed it yesterday and I'm really happy with it. It sounds great and really spins the engine over much faster that my old one did in years. I hope it will last!- Is anyone there?

Not so much trained but he does what he wants and gets what he wants I guess by just paying attention. He's the reason I get out of bed, his name is Rolex. I know what he wants and he knows what I'm about to do and runs and hides under the bed. Hates baths and toenail trims, cleaning his big ears are a weekly fight too. But I can't imagine my life without a good dog. So yeah I guess he is trained but I didn't do it, he did.- Euro / JDM taillight wiring
