  1. Maybe Frank should order some tires like cHino240Z, and hope the same delivery girl shows up. The longer this thread goes, the more vivid is the vision I have of a long line of puppies waiting to hump the only leg in the house! Where's my garden hose?
  2. Who the heck is Ed?????????????????????
  3. Didn't mean to say that the seller is a bad guy, just that the wheels are not a "set" as most people would think of a "set". With different material of construction (Aluminum vs Magnesium, you will have significantly different unsprung weight on F and R of car, or worse yet R and L sides of car. I'm not sure how badly that will affect handling, but it will definitely make some difference. BTW, I see that there is a shipping calculater on the page that I missed last night, and the shipping cost seems reasonable to the west coast.
  4. These are a mixed set of wheels, Aluminum and Magnesium. Also missing 2 center caps. Doesn't look like they've been very well cared for either. In his feedback a seller complains that he had to ship TO this seller to an overseas location. I seem to remember previous auctions from this guy listing a location of Puerto Rico. If so, the shipping could be a KILLER.
  5. It makes you a QUACKERWACKER or a DUCKERPLUCKER (I had a seagull fly into the windshield of my truck about two months ago. Big crack in the glass now)
  6. Judging from my experience with a two year old bambi, if you run into a Moose with a S30 Z car, the driver would be wearing the Moose, the T Shirt, and the Hat. Moose = High Center of Gravity, Large Body Mass Z = Lower CG, and Front Bumper at Knee Height not a good match up :cross-eye

  8. Hey maybe we should make up a "Z RoadKiller" T shirt. Or hats, and we could put on a pin of the animal that got wasted by our car. Hats are available at : .Road-Kill-Cafe dot com about 1/3 of the way down the page.
  9. and my third favorite.................
  10. and my second favorite..............
  11. Nice that his T shirt matches his beer bottle!
  12. Great Webpage link! Maybe you could post this one in our LINKS area so it is easy for everyone to find later on down the road?
  13. Thats what I meant about "cutting" down on the drying time.
  14. Follow directions directly below the picture window. Aquatic Mammal
  15. RATS! None of these links work anymore. Does anyone have the "Sleepy" movie clip that they would be willing to email me? IF so, shoot me a PM, and I'll provide a email address. Thank you.
  16. Bill: Nothing wrong with using the sink. Heck, I'd use the disposal too. Cuts down on the drying time.:tapemouth
  17. That is a mighty inconvenient way to have to work on any project.
  18. Man, I wish you lived in my area. I'd be begging you to rent me space to work on & store one car.
  19. Since I cannot weld, I didn't find a need to have 220 at the time. (beyond the provision for an electric clothes dryer)
  20. In the last garage that I owned, I installed a double outlet box every 3 feet along the side walls and I installed two double outlet boxes in the ceiling near the front of the garage, one in the center of the garage (used for the door opener), and two near the rear of the garage. Total individual recepticles (excluding the one for the door opener) was 24, on 3 circuits. This was adequate for my usage, but more would have been better. Now days, I'd settle for a garage with any number of recepticles (greater than zero).
  21. I hear you Stephen. I always wondered about that too. These screws seem to be good for nothing more than a false sense of security. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweetgrrl is also correct in that if someone is small enough, and limber enough, they could replace the electrical portion of the ignition lock assembly without removing the entire assembly from the steering collumn.
  22. Use a small drill bit to drill a hole in the screw heads. Insert and EZ Out (Screw/Bolt Extractor) and remove the screws. Replace them with standard metric screws or some other metric screws of your choice that require a "special" bit (like Torks, or Hex capscrew, etc.) The reason for these OEM headless screws was to make it difficult for someone to "quickly" steal your car by swapping in a different ignition switch.
  23. I liked the first one better, but I'm glad that you posted this one.
