    Now that was funny!!! Vicky
  2. When I mentioned "square", I was reffering to the handling of the car. The strut bar can reduce frame twisting. I do, however, understand what you are talking about. Vicky
  3. Scott has the Optima Red Top battery. I think it's either the 720 CCA or the 800 CCA. That's pretty potent as far a cranking amps. I'll let him know about the beefier starter possibilities. (I'm sure he'll just love hearing ME tell him what he should do to the car "HE" built) Thanks guys for all the valued info:classic: Vicky
  4. hls30.com, don't you mean the "neon wrapped" rattleing license plate. Vicky

Great shot of both cars kyteler. Couldn't ask for a better comparison than that! Is the 240K a 2 seater? Vicky
  6. A front and rear strut bar keeps the vehicle in a "square" (for lack of a better word). Thus keeping body roll down to the very minimum. Of course beefier struts and springs can only enhance the purpose of the strut bar, as far as stability. Vicky I guess I should say 2 cents, right?

Is the 240K about the same size as the Z-Car? Longer, shorter? Is it a two seater also? Vicky
  8. Do they even make a high torque starter for our Z-Cars? Vicky
  9. Thanks Stephen and 2ManyZ's. That's kinda what I thought. Scott's car seems so "tempermental" when it's turning over, but my bone stock 240Z always cranks right over with no fight. Vicky
  10. I have a dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Is it normally harder to start a car with high compression? Vicky

  12. The previous thread from 26th-Z is where the Factory Restored Z Program falls under. I'm sure all is true except for the $1,000,000.00 price. Vicky
  13. Here's the site for our Z Car Club. Our members have some very nice cars. http://suncoastzcarclub.homestead.com then click ClubCarz, you will see some beautiful Z cars, and my husband Scotts car is there also:love: If you click his car you will find some info on what he's done to the car as far as the engine, suspension, interior, etc. Click on the members cars to see more pics and info on their wicked nice Z-cars. :classic: Vicky

That was fun! I like hitting the boys in the mouth with the rocks. Made it to level 3, then ran out of time. :classic: Vicky

Nedemeyer (I think that's how you spell it) was the ROTC leader. TomoHawk you are correct on the other two answers! The type of car driven by Jake & Elwood Blues was a 1974 Dodge Monaco (with cop tires, cop engine (440) and a full tank of gas). Vicky Sorry guys, hit the submit button twice.

Who said "Is that a pledge pin on that uniform soldier"? What was the guys given pledge name? What is the name of the movie? (easy after you get the above) From another movie, some auto trivia: What was the year, make and model of the car that Jake & Elwood Blues drove? Vicky

Ben, I don't have a digital camera yet. Believe me when I get one, that will be the first thing I do. Yes those tires that came on the car are razor thin. We took them off and put some BF Goodrich 205/60R all the way around with the Z mags that came on the 77. We keep the stock tires and hubcaps for shows. TomoHawk, I have no idea what S88 means. I bet your right that it's metric. That's a question Scott will have to answer. Vicky

I now remember the guy that was killed while filming the movie version of the Twilight Zone, it was Vic Morrow! (right?) I believe he died from a helicopter crash. Vicky

I believe the TV show was "Combat". The guy plays "Victor" on the soap, damn I can't think of his name or the name of the soap. The guy who was in the show who played his oppisite was killed while making the move "The Twilight Zone". Please tell me I'm correct on at least one of my answers. The mind is fading here. Vicky

I wouldn't think that radials were to common back in the 70's. Vicky
