Not the answer but what I remember from that movie is Ben Stein saying "Anyone, anyone" in his montone voiceLOL Vicky

    " THAT'S JUST WRONG " Scott ( My 2 cents)

Vin Diesal (spelling?) at the end of "The Fast and The Furious" while driving that bad-azz red Chevelle. I also heard that was HIS Chevelle. Vicky

That's FUBAR. For one thing it sits way to high to even begin to look like a Ferrari. Reminds me of an old Ford Maverick...sorta. Vicky
  6. Those are beautiful! I have a set for my 72 240Z. The price does seem a little high, but I guess that's what you pay for "right out of the box". Vicky
  7. My husband Scott would do ALL of the above but says this time he would build a "stroker" engine. Vicky
  8. [ZRush, Yeah I'd seen that pic, it's very impressive! Was wondering if there were any sort of aiming from the seats looking back? As it's more everything behind the strut towers that I'm unsure of.. And what have you done on top of the towers? It looks so nice and clean!] Sorry there are no pictures from the front looking back. The back has the speaker cabinet form MSA. It too is covered in leather as well as the top of the strut towers. The guy that did the interior is a craftsman for sure. Believe it or not every picture of that car has been taken by someone else. I have no digital camera. Hoping to get one soon. Thanks again Will/aRCH-Z. Keep us posted as to your project. Always love to look at others ideas on interiors. Vicky
  9. Hey Will, thanks for the nice comments. If you look in my gallery, the 2nd page has a shot of the back hatch area. All the plastic panels were covered in leather. Designing the interior was fun. Good luck with your project. I'm sure it will be awsome. Thanks again Vicky

Where's the yellow pin-stripes Sorry, That was bad......but I had to say it. Vicky

How freaky is that! Too bad it wasn't an envelope full of cash. Vicky
  12. That was one of the hardest parts of restoring the '77 280Z. Finding some nice rims that would fit. I didn't want to have rubber bands for tires like the ricers. I love the old school SS Cragars, but someone said that they tend to chip. For now we have the 14 inch Weld Draglites. When we upgrade the brakes we are going for 16 inch rims and the search will begin again. Vicky
  13. Hi Bill Thanks for posting that site. Very cool. I'm always amazed at the sales figures for the Z car. I love to tell my chevy friends that it took Chevrolet 25 years to sell a half a million 'vettes and it took Datsun less than 10 years to sell a half a million Z's. Vicky
  14. Yes sir...you are correct! Vicky

  16. Absolutely amazing!!! I must agree that this Female Z owner IS a big fan of the Daytona Coupe (with a big block). Could it be that we are trying to see our Z cars within the shape of that fantastic creation. That gentleman definitely as outstanding talent. Vicky
  17. Check this doofus out. If you're tired DON'T drive! www.collegemix.com/crash.php (video can take a few minutes to load) Vicky
  18. The interior of that car was done by "Street Seats" here in Florida. The door handles and window cranks are from "Little Joe's Hot Rod Shop", but I'm sure most custom shops can get them. The armrests are stock, but just covered in leather. Matter of fact the entire interior including the seats are stock but covered in leather. The dash is just painted gray to match. Since we had extra leather left over the guy just made the design in the back that matches the graphics on the hood. The carpet in the floor board area is just auto carpet. No templets were used. This car can't be used as a daily driver because it gets less than 10 mpg and is not very tame. My 240Z is much better behaved. Thanks for the nice compliments. Vicky

  20. Now that's Freakin' funny. (Although it should be PLY for Puke Lime Yellow). Looks great in the bright sunshine but awful on a cloudy day. Now we've hyjacked the thread to colors instead of engines. Althought these are two very important topics IMO Vicky
  21. What's a FLY 240Z? Vicky
  22. I'm 1,333,567,600 seconds old (about 15 seconds ago). RIP Vicky
  23. FR stands for "Factory Restored". The Z in the avatar is my husbands '77 280Z. Your funny... F__king Red, I love it. My 240Z is lime yellow Vicky
  24. In my FR 1972 240Z you will find hanging over the fenders, a fully blown 502 Chevy crate motor with 1100hp and 8.08 @ 174mph. NOT!!! My Z is showroom stock, (but I can dream of the above mentioned can't I)? Vicky
