  1. I don't care what anyone says about drifting or how the vehicle is set up, it just seems like this is very hard on the driveline of the car. We used to do that and it was called beating the s*** out of your car. Drifting in go karts is fun though Vicky

  3. A tall, 200 pound woman?!?! Better make sure your frame rails and floor boards are intact, Bill. (just funnin' with ya) Vicky

Hi Chris Yes both cars have a golf ball size hole but it doesn't appear to allow air in the cabin, unless there tiny holes further back within the golf ball sized hole. I always thought this was just a visual, rather than a functional item on our cars. Vicky

In looking at jmarks fantastic shots of his newly painted Z, I'm reminded of a comment that was made in reference to the 240Z. The area were the pillar emblem is located, there should be a hole to allow for air flow within the cabin of the car. Is this hole very small or is it suppose to be quite visable. Scott's Z has a red LED light that glows from behind both pillar emblems. I don't recall seeing a hole on the 280Z. Vicky

  7. Still a member in my book if the Z remains Red!! . I see the method to your madness. Your inching ever so closer to your dream car, the Cobra, yes? Cobra Trivia: The elusive red, more of a candyish type red, is the rarest of all the cobras. Have a friend that owns one of the few that Carrol Shelby produced. Car alone without the plumbing was close to 90K. Bought it from a Shelby museum that had the car on a rotating platform. Vicky
  8. How is the crunch factor on these carbon fiber parts? Stronger than fiberglass but weaker then metal? Would a blemish be fixed the way fiberglass is repaired? All these Z parts comming out now that the 77 is done is just not fair  Vicky
  9. It took us 4 days (trailered) to get to California for MSA. You do what you have to do to enjoy the Z even if it means a day of driving. You will not be disapointed, that I will guarantee!! Vicky
  10. Doesn't matter Bill, it's warmer than Arkansas in February so come on down!! :classic: Vicky
  11. Art The ZFest is becomming, if not, one of the largest Z gatherings in the southeast. Location is primo, Orlando!!! So many spectators and all kinds of Z Cars. Fantastic music & food. Kick off night was Friday, show Saturday with a Poker Run for those that were done with the judging/show. Vendors with demonstrations, trophies, mega door prizes (nice). Sunday was a rally of some sort, I believe (don't quote me), we left to come back home. Westpak is obviously the contact. This event is definitely something Sport Z Magazine should cover. Vicky
  12. Is it possible to take a picture of the underside of the dash also? Vicky
  13. Chris Do you still need fenders? I do believe Scott located both fenders. There's practically an entire 77 280Z in the attic and I know he's never going back to stock with his car. Vicky
  14. I vote YES! It should be 26th-Z/27th-Z or something like that. Combo of both Z's..................or your favorite "Asian Twins" but that doesn't let others know of your low vins except in your signature. Vicky
  15. I paid $175.00 for the original '72 am/fm Hitachi radio a few years ago. It also came with the original speaker and it still has the cadium (sp?) on it. Very nice product for the price........at least I thought so. I realize early first Z's (69-70ish) items are more rare but I think OEM radios are one of the hardest items to find as this is normally the first thing the owner changed out. At least radios that funtion and are in good shape. JMO Vicky
  16. Snow, I laugh in your face. Hurricanes, you laugh in my face. Seriously, put a cover on that beauty after all your work. Also, can't the weight of lots of snow and/or ice dent the fragile metal on the Z's? Send her to Florida, we'll take care of her :nervous: Vicky
  17. It's freakin' cold in Florida in February!!! Windy and rainy too. We'll be there but I'll be sitting IN the car with the heat on Just kidding. Last years event was great with lots of cars and great people. If you have a swap meet, I'm gonna try and get my husband to clean out the attic of Z parts he's never, ever going to use again. Parts will be off his 77 280Z. Vicky

This is what happens when a Z falls into the wrong hands. I do like the rims however. The "Blower" looks like a tea table. Vicky
  19. Hey Mull, Those holes definitely do not belong to the F-40 Wing. I have one and it bolts to the hatch in 2 places. Two bolts either side so it's safe to weld up the exsisting holes. Scott

Hey Ed, Welcome and enjoy. You will find very knowledgable people here to help you get that Z to tip top shape.
  21. I cannot view it either Vicky
  22. Sell the ZX and go buy a Z. If you put the Z front end on a ZX, you'll end up hating the rest of your ZX, so you might as well have the entire car you really want anyway. Vicky
  23. That would be called a "clone". Vicky
  24. Groovy Man :knockedou Reminds me of when I put shag carpeting in the hatch area of my Mach 1 around the speakers. Very 70's indeed. Peace Vicky
