  1. Thanks Jim. I find that information very interesting. I know most people could care less about tires but that's all that's between you and the road. Naturally the "Z" rated tire is for high performance Vicky
  2. The "Vintage" 1972 240Z has Toyo's, 175 R14 88S. What does 88S mean? An 80's series tire? Vicky
  3. Will, didn't 26th-Z mention something about how low vins will not get you laid in a previous post? :stupid: Bill, the little "fag bag" is a insider joke privy to only those members of the Suncoast Z Car Club. We were just giving Chris a hard time about carrying around a little bag so he could put all his freebies from the auto show in. Vicky
  4. Vin numbers and getting laid, only Chris would use the two in the same sentence . I guess Jim and the rest of us were wrong at the Tampa Auto Show about your little "fag bag"...........with the, dare I say, Mitsubishi logo. Your way too funny 26th-Z a.k.a 27th-Z and so on and so forth. Vicky

And keep an extra set incase you get a crack or chip. Oh yeah, do paint the brackets body color, it looks much better IMO. Vicky

  7. They're running a Monster Garage Marathon now on Discovery Channel. Maybe they'll show that episode. Vicky

  10. I woudn't pay 19K for it either. I agree with you there Carl. Vicky
  11. Is the 3.545 the best gearing for off the line or 1/4 miles times? I'd think the best would be a 3.90 for quick launches and it would be able to handle some top end, no? Vicky
  12. Well since we all here own Z's it helps us :classic: Vicky
  13. Maybe it's the color, I don't know. I really don't like the pumpkin colored Z's. Could also be the photographs. The car looks "dusty". Remember, we want these cars to sell for this type of price. It helps us all in the long run. Vicky
  14. I just can't get over those hooks up under the rear bumper. Are they not removable? Vicky
  15. I bet it'll run on Comedy Central since the show was a joke IMO. The only good part was when they showed the Z's BEFORE they touched them and the Z history was interesting. It's possible they'll run it again this weekend as so many of the weekly shows on the Discovery, History and Learning Channel are repeated during Saturday and Sunday. Can you try and e-mail the History channel and ask about a re-run or a possible video? Most of the other programs are offered on video. Just a thought Vicky

  17. Everyone get the MSA Holiday flyer? What do you guys think of that Performance Electric Water Pump on page 12? It says it reduces cavitations. What is a cavitation? Do you no longer need a fan with this application or is meant to be used with an electric fan? Vicky
  18. Agreed Mike Backyard modifications at best. Did anyone think the 390 Holley carb was a bit much considering they did nothing to the internals other than the cam. The cars seems "bogged" down at the green light. Vicky
  19. A 572ci will require some modification (lots) to the engine bay. Know a friend that's putting one in a pristine 1970 240Z and it will not just slide right in. The car is having a whole "frame" built to help keep it from twisting due to the massive engine torque. I personally think it's overkill since the car is not even going to be raced. The person just has the attitude that bigger is better and that is not always true IMO. Vicky
