  2. wow didn't think a lambo would make that high up
  3. i would try grundy or hagerty , I went with hagerty , full coverage for 95 a year and those are rather high with the limits , you can find it , might be harder for a person under 25

i highly recommend the urethane , replaced several before I learned , between speed bumps and curbs when parking its just not worth it , the right painter can add chemical to amek ti more elastic to it less likely to crack as it flexes
  5. the sunroof never being a factory option never seems to work right on anyones that I knew that had it , including myself , If I had a rust free one with a sun roof and a rusty one without I would replace the roof , before fixing rust but thats just a personal thing
  6. hhm don't rides horses or feed them , but i have some glue:tapemouth
  7. can I get a Almen my brother
  8. more or less anything connected to the ecu box <brain> or the fuse box , or dizzy, sounds like a short or looose terminal

do a tune up then see how it idles but a 73 with flat tops will take a bit to get to a good idle speed as well as most carbed z's
  10. honestly try to get it as close as possible as in like germany or any country you could drive it home to sounds too simple to me i think i am missing something
  11. look under plate or tag there was a huge thread going where i got my custom tag ideal from
  12. always go the way of the least amount of rust , the 73 I hear is heavier but keep the 71 for parts , most all parts are exchangeable , always nice to have a parts car , the 73 has the flat top carbs and more smog stuff , good luck
  13. I drained my tank with a drill type of pump then took it to a radiator shop and resurfaced and sealed it for 165 , most fire departments will take the old gas for ya , I don't recommend cleaning out your tank with water , rust will form quickly without gas in there and especially with extra water being put in there, good luck
  14. gotta tell you if its that bad i would take up another expensive hobby other than z cars like collecting military arms , one good 6 pack a few hours of quality time waiting for the little bastards and good olde quality time with a m-4 or ak is always well spent:geek:
  15. not sure how much of a deal that will be , the front brace looks bent back , light I agree with keith slightly understated ,
  16. without a motor you also have to consider how to get it to your garage , towing and getting temporary tires on it and the money spent doing that, i think I would start at the 100-150 range , i think you can buy alot more car for a few hundred more and might be a better investment , at 700 to a grand you get alot more car to start with , and EXPECT to spend alot more than you plan , anything 30 years plus has issues even worse when its in the shape you describe, good luck
  17. sorry to hear about your dog , do you have motion sensor lighting at the shed?
  18. ahh didn't realize I was a copycat , just saw it as one of the thoughts someone had listed , probably won't see mine too much
  19. thanks Carl
  20. call me weird but she would the kind of female that would be fun to show off and as well to spend good time and money on , and likes to be waxxed alot
  21. sorry to hear , I would start heading to the local animal shelter , and ask for the meanest animal they have
  22. all right you guys made me go get one for my 240z , alot of pressure there , got HLS30 , figured those who truly knew would understand
  23. there were plenty of great cars from the 80's and 90's but they weren't american made, honda crx , mazda rx-7 , 300zx tt , supra turbo , but it seems it was also the last bit of most of these cars production run, japan also tends to mess up a good thing but generally it takes longer, 50k for a sports car is a bit much , but just my 2 copper pieces
  24. My thoughts and prayers are with you Delta and your family, I am very shocked and saddened of the news , I will miss his insight, help and kindness , he will be truly missed Take care , Jeff
