HLS30U-00027 has the brackets. Pictures attached. I'll see 26th later this morning and take pictures. Sorry for the rusty photographs. 26th is looking much better.

Yes, shorter side outboard.

Water Pump
Grab your fan blade and wiggle it front to back. If there is any movement at all, the water pump is bad and needs to be replaced.

Datsun-240z Vs Fairlady-z432
Getting back to the glove box discussion: I finally took a picture of the glove box from HLS30-00026. It's a universal type glovebox and 26th is a 'U' not a 'UV' but just the same for glove boxes.

Parts Wanted: Series 1 Drivers side door hinge set?
Door hinge differences: early type on the right and later type (most common) on the left. Rebuild kits for both types are available.

hood prop rod clip
I'll bet the metal clamp from the later style inspection lid would work. I'll do some measurements when my replacement arrives.

Door panel clear washers for Series 1
I tried McMaster-Carr for countersunk finishing washers. Found white ones, but not clear. Hmmm...

Wheel wrench styes
So I bought the lug wrench Terrapin Z posted. It arrived; very nice. Then Terrapin sent me a link to these NISSAN MOTOR pliers with that magic 27 die number. How cool. So I started looking for more NISSAN tools and I rediscovered the background on my tool roll. There is still one of these available on Ebay for a hefty sum but check out this link; https://www.superscoutspecialists.com/633633t-diesel-nos-tool-kit Evidently, NISSAN sold diesel engines to International Harvester for their SuperScout diesel models and the tool roll came with the engines to be delivered with the vehicles. The seller on Ebay wants 5 times the price on the IH website.

Z's on BAT and other places collection
I wasn't too surprised with the price. Especially listed on a place like BaT. As much as I would love to have that bling on my engine, they weren't the right carbs for me. I've seen better deals but this one DID include two nice manifolds.

Z's on BAT and other places collection
The triple Mikuni carburetors on BaT last week just sold for $6,666. Good bidding war at the end.

Curious ? on early 240s
The early, early cars didn't have insulation mat melted over the holes in the metal. I can't think of anything other than weight saving for that design.
