That is exactly what I thought. I guess he was just pulling my leg, or trying to sound smart in front of his girlfriend. I had to make sure since i am having a hard time locating a good complete L28et.

Upon disscussion of my planning to do an L28et swap... One of my local Z friends told me that a Z31 engine will just bolt into a 280z. I told him I've never heard that. I thought it would take motor mount mods, and not just "bolt in". Is this true?:cross-eye

Yeah what they said! The Members attitude and the oranization of the site are great. I agree with Zmefly on the Chat room. Maybe on the homepage or above the options menu there could be a box that says if anyone is in the chat room.

I've seen a few custom vents in the gallery that i like. Stock? its okay if i had no other choice, if i had a choice NO. I'm just glad my 78 doesn't have any.

For the thead reference: I got them off by hammering out the brake drums in the rear. I broke some pieces off one so if you are trying to salvage them be careful. I removed the caliper pins, cut a brake line and knocked the brake pads out (way easier than the drums once i cut the line).
