  3. Have you looked at Summit Racing or Jegs? If Whitehead can get them, then they are available somewhere else. Even to just verify pricing
  4. A 72 in San Martin https://www.copart.com/lot/58570859 Looks like it was originally blue. Hatch looks to have holes and you don't know where the original title was from. Might be really holey

Your window seems to be coming up at an odd angle. I wonder if you have all the right pieces? I know the glass and regulators changed over the years and I believe the 260z's have a some unique to them parts.
  6. I wonder if you reshaped the copper tips some if the weld puddle would get larger? Maybe flatten the tip some for more contact area. Not suggesting you modify your tips unless they're cheap. Just a thought they look like they might be reversible
  7. In theory, not very hard. They snap off the metal seam at the top edge of the door. some plastic pry bars can help. Just be careful not to warp it when you pull it off.
  8. The rust below the window trim actually starts up under the window trim. It then travels down lifting the paint as it goes. You really need to remove the window trim and sand down the rusty area as far as you can. Neutralize the rust then use a little primer, then touch up paint
  9. Depends how DIY you want to be. Mega squirt being the most DIY Several guys here on the forum are going Haltech Haven't laid hands on either
  10. If you have lots of mods the stock ECU won't work. You will have to move to an aftermarket EFI system
  11. Yes, it looks good. You're being really productive!!
  12. The plug, if it has the inverted square drive is a solid piece. So you can't snap it like a bolt. Now if the square drive doesn't fit close enough then you might could strip it but I doubt it. The cover I was working on was loose and I couldn't hold it still enough for a breaker bar. I resorted to the impact and it came right out. No problem
  13. Making good progress!
  14. I couldn't get one out recently and used a 1/2" drive impact gun to remove it directly.
  15. It would be interesting to see what you're painting in and the ventilation setup. My trash has gotten a little better but I am still trying to diagnose where its coming from
  16. Very nice!! Is your paint staying clean or are you getting any random trash?
  17. Is the Chevron a right hand drive car? It looks like he is on the near side of the car. If he is on the right side, maybe he has a limited view of Morton coming up on him and maybe he is giving himself more room from the stricken car because he doesn't have as clear a view from the other side of the car.
  18. I would not go back from the L26 block to the L24. More cubic inches is better in my opinion
  19. I believe this is correct. At least that has been my understanding
  20. How many miles on this transmission?
  21. That's a lot of water Chas!
  22. Is it possible something is causing too much back pressure or excessively high exhaust temps?
  23. That is a valid argument Although from the sound of it Morton is off the gas when he comes up on Brian
