  1. I think using poly in the differential mounts is a huge mistake, because it allows the vibration to be transmitted much easier into the cabin. Stiffening these mounts adds nothing beneficial to the cars handling quality. I have poly as well, but wasn't thinking at the time. It is clear to me know that it was a huge mistake. Using poly in your suspension is a good idea, but not so much in the drive train.
  2. Too bad he doesn't have V8 in his name.
  3. And a pic of you holding an SU.

This is when Mr K was a young man. Look at the 510 wagon with whitewall tires. My dad's 510 4 dr sedan had those bias ply tires. They really sucked. I think he got 10,000 out of them or something. Horrible tires. Sears Roadhandlers by Michelin went on after.....world of difference.
  5. I want to hear more about why you chose those locations.
  6. Happy Birthday to our Admin, Mike.
  7. From what I've read over the years, the twice-pipes exhaust provides little benefit under most driving conditions over a large pipe exhaust. There is more pipe surface area to provide friction. It's not a V engine.
  8. Timken is top-notch.
  9. It's not Todd's show, it's my show.
  10. If my rear bearings weren't shot, I'd probably show up. I've been wanting to for some time.
  11. That's a great idea, only thing if a car has been modded or otherwise worked on a lot, sometimes the wrong bold length or head-type is used. So you might have to check each one to see if it matches the others for the same part. Go get'em Tiger!!
  12. Carl Beck also called the 350Z concept car an "ugly toad", and I'll never forget it.
  13. Looks like it might be cracked already, but hard to say for sure.
  14. I painted mine same was the car. Wish I had put some transparent protection on the front spoiler.
  15. Body color, in my opinion.

I believe they are 5 mm, and I recommend buying stainless. I also used large washers was well. I think there are nine of them.
  18. I know Carl Beck likes to collect the VINs of junk cars like that for the record, so they know what happened to them. If you send them to him, I'm sure he was thank you.
  19. Sometimes the image on the website is not what you get, and sometimes they tell that somewhere on the site. Not sure why the stamped impeller would wear out faster, since it's usually a leaky seal followed by bearing failure. Certainly the cast impeller has nicer blades on it.
  20. $69K, yeah good luck with that. It's very possible to take the body off the frame...............................with a torch!
  21. I'm not so sure about that dash.
  22. The info is all wrong, but it's sold. Be careful of cheesy ads with incorrect info from "original owners".
  23. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/30mmFuseLED Hey guys, found this site. There may be others, but they sell bulbs that will fit our old lamps and convert them to LED. I think that's pretty cool. Has anyone tried these? Imagine turning your map light and room light to LED.
  24. What are you talking ab out?
