I took the Z to our local "Worship" car meet. When the local Cars and Coffee (known as Caffeine and Octane here) got too big, some people started a smaller show for the same time slot that attracts more of a "car people" crowd. Anyway, there were 8 S30s there with the 280Z being the most prevalent. I got to see @jonathanrussellfor the first time in about 4 years, too.

And here's a video from walking around the lot at the same meet.

Installed some T3 coilovers. I like the look over stock ride height a lot better.

It's pretty mean around the corners too. afc3f1d1cbb6a189bd7bb5403786a268.jpg4d31a83516f13869f6c5b963652c604c.jpg

A little more reasonable rear ride height3c7accbe29027d28eb7ca2cfbcce1978.jpg

Hooked the trickle charger up anticipating a early morning drive. 62 degrees this morning so hoping for the same tomorrow.

I think I'll take the dog?

Continued on with the dual exhaust fab . I now have pipe from front to back - but nothing solidly welded yet.

I was just looking back at your paint thread yesterday and was going to ask if you ever had chance to get them mounted up.

Glad to hear you were able to get it raised up some and is riding well.

Did you go with their standard coil rates?

300 front/250 rear

Took it out for a 30 minute drive. Broke the ceramic pads loose, no squeaking , burnt the older fuel in the float chambers and the delivery system. Heated the tires up to keep any flat spots away.

Italian tune up! Everything's working good so I'm happy for another month or so until I do it again.

Weather's nice down here for a change. You NW folks are experiencing what we do every year I've read. Sorry about that but it's El Nino acting up a lot sooner than normal. They say "going to hell in a handbasket" around here when there's no end in sight.

Had mine flat bedded to my mechanic on Thursday to correct a couple problems and hope to have it back Monday or Tuesday.  It was 120º here yesterday, so probably won't be doing much more with it for a while.

Started getting the 72 ready for the engine swap. Removed the exhaust, drained fluids, disconnected stuff underneath. Next weekend I hope to get it in position to pull the engine out.
