This one has potential to be a nice driver, you would have to strip off the 80s style bumpers and side skirts and try and match the paint.

Has a dash cap rather than the replacement dash as the description says but otherwise it is nice shape.  The seller says he purchased from Barrett Jackson so he probably paid more than he should have but I'm thinking BaT agreed to about a $15,000 reserve.

Here's a good basic 280Z for somebody that wants to get in to the Z world and drive one without spending too much.  Lots of nickels and dimes waiting to be spent but it should be pretty easy  to get back in to good running shape.  Might even make a good "will it run and drive  XX miles" video.

I'm confident my unsolicited advice will go in one ear and out the other but the new owner would be wise to start the operation with an S30 World reproduction fuel tank. Build your house on a solid foundation!

I 100% agree. Repaired my original tank twice. Total waste of time. Bought the S30 tank. Fantastic reproduction.

There are 2 tiny issues which I'll go into another time. One is important the other not so much.
