Datsun 240Z Best in Class 2014 Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance

I am posting this as another landmark day for the "Datsun 240Z" as it was judged best in class, Sports and GT 1965-1976, against 9 other cars (6 were Porsches) at the 2014 Pinehurst Concours. The event was held yesterday, at the Pinehurst Golf Resort with a very elaborate field of cars. The judges were from many well known concours like Pebble Beach and Amelia Island. Outstanding! It looks right at home there. Congratulations.

I think I can see the reflection of the grass in your gas tank in that shot on page 6! That tells me what the rest of the car looks like up close. Stunning.

Winner: 1972 Datsun 240Z owned by Robert Speights by Nashville, Tenn.

Second Place: 1965 Porsche 356C owned by Tim Herman, Hickory, N.C.

Third Place: 1970 Porsche 911S owned by William C. “Rusty” Russ, Jacksonville, Fla.
