Hi Guys,

Bought a 71 240Z when I was 16 in 1983.

Parted it out when underside was just to rusty.

Bought a great 73 in 1995 and a beater 72 in 1996.

Have also had:

1977 200sx with built L20B and dual carbs. Man that car was ugly!!

1979 310GX 2 door hatch

1979 280ZX

1979 810 (miss that car)

Wife drives a 240SX.

She used to have a 1975 280Z.

Guess were truly Nissan Nutz!!

I have had many, many Z cars over the years. I bought my first car (71 240Z)when I was 19. I learned how to work on cars by replacing &/or rebuilding nearly everything on it. Then I went about modifying most things on it. Great car! I now drive an 86 300ZX turbo & 96 Infiniti Q45. Ya gotta love a turbo! The Zs I've owned are listed below.

1971 240z

1972 240z

1973 240z

1975 280z

1977 280z (2 of those)

1978 280z

1979 280zx

1980 280zx

1982 280zx (2 of those)

1983 280zx

1985 300zx

1986 300zx Turbo

I may be purchasing a 95 300zx Twin Turbo soon as well.

Owned a 78 280 from Dec of 1977 to June of 1993..my pride and joy...like a dummy I sold it ...after surviving the "what the heck did I do that for " period and deciding to wait until the appropriate time to buy another one , it took three years to locate what I was after...and finally in 1999 I found her...a 1977 280, 68,800 original miles as well as the original paint that looked as if the car had never left the showroom..owned by a 72 year old gent who also had a 2+2 version (in Florida with his son)...now I am happy again....LOL

1978 280 British Racing Green..or whatever Datsun called the dark green, this was the one I sold like an idiot...

1977 280 Champaign Gold (very light gold color) which is going to be changed as soon as I locate the fender and qtr flairs that I want..not sure of the new color as of yet...any suggestions...

77 Z

I have a 2003 350Z PPW Track version and we are currently redoing a '78 280Z 5 speed. I always wanted a 240Z-280Z since HS. Most of the mechanical work is done. Painting is the last big thing to be done. Going to paint it the original Wine Red Metallic.

Why did you get rid of it? Was it a two door? I love my 79 810 2dr. I've seen one other one on the road since I've had mine. I've only seen two other 2dr 810s in the junkyard and one of them was my parts car that I sold to them! I see and occcasional 4 dr or wagon on the street or in the 'yards. Got any parts?

I thought I had answered this a long time ago, but I'll try to list mine chronologically.

1970 240Z Corvette Bright Yellow L-28 w/ flattop pistons and 280Z 5 speed, 1982-1986. Sold when I had to go out to California to work.

1970 240Z 904 White. In the process of upgrading piece by piece. 2000-present.
