  1. I managed to grab 2 hard copies. One stays in the car, and the other in my office.
  2. Start by helping yourself. Download a copy of the factory service manual. You will find it at http://www.xenons130.com/reference.
  3. If you want to bring your car over this weekend, we can try to get Betty to bitch again.
  4. Eddie Murphy had some ideas: Talking Cars by Eddie Murphy
  5. Oh, I'm aware of Bitching Betty. I just wasn't reading carefully.
  6. First, download a copy of the FSM. Use the EL section for references. Check all of the connectors coming through the firewall into the passenger compartment. EL-112 shows the locations of the connectors. If all of the connections are good (colors match & inserted properly), verify you have 12 VDC on each side of your fusible links (provided the car is stock). Refer to EL-5 & EL-6. Next check your fuses by pulling them out one-by-one and measuring them with an ohmmeter. Finally, if you are close enough, I can come help.
  7. Shows my memory isn't what it used to be.
  8. This is a typo. It should have been 75-77. As Lenny stated, in 78, the ECU took over.
  9. It does if you want the job to be right in the end.
  10. Fat Cat Fabrication :: Home Used by at least one member here. Just ask Pete Thomas - aka Thomas461.
  11. Haven't a clue. If only someone would spam this board with information...
  12. My neighbor installed the bung for a wideband O2 sensor. Tomorrow or Thursday I will see what the air/fuel ratio is and try to get it closer to stoichiometric.
  13. The fuel pump relay operation is dependent upon what year Z you have. 75-78 used the flap in the AFM to indicate the car was running. I cannot remember off the top of my head what provided the signal for the 78, but I'm sure one of the people better versed in that year will say something.
  14. It would be interesting to crack open the case and identify the transistors and circuitry in it, too.
  15. I also found this on Amazon: 50 Pcs 6 X 30mm Electronic Glass Fuse Tube Clip Clamp: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific Lifetime supply.
  16. After getting up way early yesterday to go to Z Nationals, there was only one thing to do today. That was to get up early again and go to Caffeine & Octane. It was great weather and great cars. What a way to spend a weekend. Caffeine & Octane ? October 2013: Up All Night (311 pictures) | Steve's CARtography
  17. 1. I haven't tried to find a fuse box clip. You might try some of the local marine stores. I figure there should be some in Myrtle Beach. 2. Yes.
  18. Z Nationals is held annually at Z1 Motorsports. Mad Mike was there. I saw him, but I didn't have a chance to chat with him.
  19. Today was the show day for Z Nationals. The place was packed with a long line that formed early. It was a great day for a car show, too. Enjoy the pictures: Z Nationals ? 2013 | Steve's CARtography
  20. wet or dry?
  21. If the C&D article is the one I remember, they took a 73 and tried to improve gas mileage via aerodynamics. I found the article in a book that is a compilation of car magazine articles on Z cars (and sometimes roadsters, too).
  22. For more information on the fuel injection system, use the FSM (link below) and/or the fuel injection reference guide (aka Fuel Injection Bible) at XenonS130 - S130 Reference.
  23. I have a copy of the article in a book at home. I won't have time to look for it until probably next Monday.
  24. Actually, that is essentially from the FSM. You will find the same style diagrams in the 72 & 73 FSMs. Those and my 73 were my resources for the diagram of the hazard/brake/turn signal schematic I drew up on my blog.
  25. They are actually very easy to rebuild. I have done a few myself.
