  1. Guy, if you want a preview, come to ZNationals this fall.
  2. Duluth. https://www.sonesta.com/us/georgia/duluth/sonesta-gwinnett-place-atlanta It's an easy ride up to the tracks or mountains against the flow of traffic.
  3. The word is out. ZCON 2018 will be in Atlanta! Some of what we are planning: 1. It will be in October, so we don't have to worry about melting. 2. Track day at Road Atlanta 3. Autocross and possibly karting at Lanier Raceplex (right across the street from Road Atlanta) 4. Mountain cruises - Enjoy the wonderful curves in the North Georgia Mountains.
  4. Put together a bid for 2019.
  5. I'm not in Austin. The next year's ZCON is decided at the ZCCA business meeting. It's revealed to the masses at the closing banquet.
  6. It has already been decided, Cliff. The polls are closed.
  7. Snacking
  8. Nothing official. That's tonight at the banquet.
  9. I used to live near him. Frequently on weekend mornings, I would see him driving down Prince William Pkwy to test the tuning of his motor.
  10. Yes.
  11. I hope to be at the next one.

    Just leaving this here.
  13. That was supposed to be "factory or aftermarket". I need some sleep.
  14. Factory or AC. Show pictures.
  15. Holy crap, that seems high, especially when you consider you still need an evaporator and expansion valve. Does it even say anywhere what you get for the money?
  16. I also have a copy of this book lying around the house somewhere. https://www.amazon.com/How-Air-Condition-Your-Hot/dp/1935828789 I think @Carl Beck posted many years ago about using a Vintage Air setup. That is all mix & match. Nostalgic AC has a wide variety of condensers. If you have a Z car evaporator, I think the biggest challenges will be to get an expansion valve set up and drier (280Z driers are made of unobtaniums). My brother works on building HVAC, but he has given me advice in the past on automotive AC.
  17. Here's a compressor kit with mounting bracket. https://nostalgicac.com/datsun-240z-260z-280z-compressor-upgrade-kit.html
  18. Are you in the Chattanooga area? @gwri8 I can smell a road trip.
  19. Read step 1 in the link: https://fiddlingwithzcars.wordpress.com/260z-air-dam-and-front-bumper/
  20. 1. We can look at the switch and flasher unit. (About 1.5 hours or so if I need to clean the switch) 2. If it's the relay, I'll have to improvise a fix. (About an hour or so) 3. We can get the car on ramps so I can get under it and check the switch. I may have a replacement switch, but I'm not sure. (About an hour or less) 4. I have 2.2KOhm resistors. They do burn out. I have a test procedure worked out in my head to confirm. (About an hour or less if I'm right) Bonus round: 1. That's a couple of hours to fix. It requires me to take the window out, etc. Others could probably do it faster, but I just don't move that fast. It's been about 8 years since the last time I did I took the door apart. 2. You'll need to give me more info on that.

When are you guys driving down here to show it off?
  23. 1. When you used Paypal, you gave them your name, address and email address. 2. If you were expecting an account to be set up, I don't think that would happen immediately. ZONC isn't a business. It's people volunteering their time to create a car club. 3. They have names, email addresses, and phone numbers on their website for the club officers. Why not try contacting them?
