  1. I think there are two different thicknesses of filter. Pre and post 73, roughly.
  2. I'd lift the rear end, take the wheels off turn the wheels and check if you can see or hear it.
  3. I don't quite understand what you're describing, but it sounds wrong. It should be the same left and right. I don't know what wheels you have, some fit different wheels front and back, but the standard is the same wheels front and back.
  4. It definitely sounds like something is hitting every revolution of a wheel. Have you tried swapping that front left wheel to the rear?
  5. It could be lots of things. My guess would be some suspension bolt not done up tight enough.
  6. You could run the wire faster on setting 3. or slower on setting 2.
  7. Only paid up members can see content in the members only area Ali.
  8. Yep ๐Ÿ‘
  9. Yes, 7s won't hurt I'm sure.
  10. Its not about absorbing heat, its about keeping the tip of the spark plug at the right temperature to keep it clean but not burn. When the cylinder temperatures are higher (higher compression, different fuels etc) then the plug tip needs to be more shrouded to keep it a bit cooler. I.e. a hot plug doesn't run hotter than a cold plug, they are all meant run at the same temp. A cold plug needs a hotter cylinder to keep it at the target temperature. So if you were convinced that you change in AFRs was resulting in hotter cylinder temperatures, then you might fit a 7 plug. And then if you discover it gets fouled you could go back to a 6. If you buy the cheap standard plugs, thats not painful.
  11. Because cylinder temps aren't much changed by being somewhat leaner at idle.
  12. 100kpa is about 15psi is about 1 bar is about atmospheric pressure.
  13. I'd just go with cheap bpr6es. Does your engine burn some oil? It looks like there are deposits on the spark plugs.
  14. Hi, apologies for the thread resurrection. My 72 California 240z has one of these relay thingies attached too. Do you think it likely a 72 car could have this originally, or do you think it has been retrofitted? Just curious. It's not staying, same for the EGR and other emissions stuff ๐Ÿ˜€.
  15. I meant check cloth on the central back and seat panels.
  16. Apols for resurrecting an old thread. Does anyone know where I might get replacement seat covers like this? I.e. check cloth panels on the back and seat. These guys look like a maybe, but the pics aren't inspiring https://www.seatcoversunlimited.com/Nissan-240Z.html Thx
  17. Maybe the "ears" on your gearbox have been pushed together to compensate for worn bushes at some time in the past. that seems to have been done to mine and I had to heat them and pry them apart again to get everything aligned right.
  18. 8hp more on a TR4? Thats what, 50% more horsepower?
  19. Would it work to use a non Apple phone too Ali? @AK260๐Ÿ˜œ
  20. Worked for me, first brexit benefit I've found!
  21. My recollection is that the high flow pump rotor is 40mm tall compared to stock 35mm.
  22. Yes, it comes out behind the chain tensioner - I've assumed for pressuring the tensioner shoe, but it might also oil the chain.
