  1. I have seen this car and know Zkars quite well. His level of craftsmanship is borderline obsessive/clinical treatment required.... I am sure Jim can provide the pictures you seek, but rest assured this car is worth more than asking...
  2. Shot of the pre welded rear hub in powder coat.
  3. The RT Diff mount
  4. Techno Toys arrived today. Powder coating the raw strut mounts black. Didn't want blue... The gloss black looks great!!
  5. Got the rear hub assemblies powdercoated as well as the RT diff mount. No pics tonight sorry. Will get some good shots of the welding when I get that done though!
  6. Great progress! Inspiring...
  7. The powder coat is cured at 450 degrees. The welding will be done with wet rags around the spindles and anti splatter spray on the exposed parts. Shouldn't be an issue.
  8. Mounted the freshly powder coated fuel pump bracket. The rubber covered wire wraps did not fair well in the oven but I will strip them and recoat them in plastidip before I'm done.
  9. Some shots of the front spindles before welding. Powder coated all over except the spindles and the band around the strut that will receive the weld.
  10. Congrats! A bigger garage definitely makes work easier... The trick is gradually turning it into a shop so the wife doesn't see the transformation from a "garage" to a "shop" overnight... Good Luck!
  11. Can't talk now, gotta get the oven back in the house before the wife gets home....
  12. Skillard.com has replacements. Reasonable price too.
  13. Silicone plugs and heat tape still on the spindles. They stay hot quite a while! Should also note, I pre-baked the spindles for half an hour at 450 before powdering them. Off gassing and burning out impurities.
  14. Decided to play with the powdercoater today! Did some small plates for the front crossmember and then hit the front spindles. Not bad! Satin black almost looks flat black but I like it. Blasted and prepped Powdered In the oven And out! Same with the spindles.
  15. Looks a lot like my CX Racing set. Did you get extended stud standard bolt pattern or four bolt pattern? Mine are stock pattern.
  16. Isabelle... But I also know a lot of soldiers in Quebec too...
  17. Where is he in Quebec? I have friends in Quebec City... maybe they could stop in.
  18. That will sniff out a fraud.
  19. Yikes Jim.... sounds fishy. Most French Canadians speak fairly good English. Especially those in business. I speak good French but probably not good enough to conduct a business transaction for someone. Shouldn't be hard for you to have a video chat with him and bring along a local French teacher/ person from cowtown.
  20. Mine will mount to this fuse plate in front or behind... still needs painting.
  21. Maybe I should hide a Tiger Torch tip in these and a propane hookup in the trunk...
  22. Looking forward to your progress.
  23. Nice stuff! Looks like a very nice car to start with....!
  24. Just a smoked lens cover... my buddy has a blockout screen that can be remotely dropped over the plate for underpasses with photo radar...!
  25. City bus drivers make 20% more than us.... not sure who gets shot at more though
