  1. Yes, I plan on rotating the car on the rack and getting as much coverage as possible. I still have a quarter of the 50' roll left plus two more full rolls. It definitely looks space age in there right now!
  2. The conductive sound check has shown to be a good solid thunk versus any ringing or resonance. The transmissive noise is yet to be determined but I still have the isolation foam and rubber to go in as well.
  3. Hopefully! I still want to cover as much of the interior cabin as possible along with the roof and doors. I'm hoping it helps keep the heat out as well.
  4. So the sound mat is going in fairly well. Very slow process as the butyl is VERY sticky! Still on the first roll. Most of the difficult curves are done now. Hopefully it gets easier before I run out of latex gloves !
  5. I second the Track or Thrust angle setting. Nothing worse than a dog tracking car.... My preferred setup is more like -1.2 front and-1.7 rear camber. This depends on a square or staggered tire setup too. I run staggered on the 370. I will probably run staggered on the 280 too. Corner turn in is usually improved and understeer shouldn't be an issue.
  6. @Eurodat for the bumper conversion parts. His system is artwork.
  7. Cool stuff Sean! Looking forward to that stage of my build... your parts look amazing!
  8. That brings back both good and bad memories!
  9. Means you use Maple Syrup instead of 10W30....
  10. I have Swift Springs on my 370Z and highly recommend them. They are not a lowering spring, they are a performance spring that comes with the added feature of lowering the car and improving stance and handling. Love them!
  11. Injection is staying along with the 11mm Pallnet fuel rail and polished intake (pics a couple pages back), the regulator is positioned after the fuel rail (return line) with a pressure gauge on both (fuel rail and reg), the hose clamped fuel lines are the same clamps that came off the clamped hose to hard line connections from the stock system and are good and tight. The fuel line is steel braided injection fuel line, ethanol safe. 36psi should be fine at the lines. As for the fuel cutoff, I was not thinking this would be an issue with the stock AFM controlled cutoff (intake butterfly closed = pump off). However, as I am now going to go with the EZ-Fire system, I will have to look into the fuel cutoff issue. Thanks for the reminder! I really do appreciate the feedback! I too am dying to see the finished project one day... Order for brakes and undercarriage components goes in to Arizona Z Car on Monday next week!
  12. Fabricated a new panel for the digital fuse panel.
  13. I've sent the info out to the Edmonton Z Club guys Jim...
  14. Wow! If only I could swing another one right now! Gorgeous car, upstanding guy and meticulous restoration skills... buy with confidence I'll PM you where to send the "reference" cheque Jim...
  15. Red line indicates straight path, purple a drooped line.
  16. The return line to the regulator will pass directly below (or maybe even through) the bottom of the hood latch frame area. It shouldn't be an issue but I can always route the return hose lower if need be. I don't expect any contact with the hood or latch.
  17. Mounted the fuel pressure regulator.
  18. Pics would help
  19. European model? Left hand drive means Germany or France maybe?
  20. The interior is painted with silver POR
  21. Reference info...
  22. So funny and so true!
  23. Correct. It senses loss of fluid pressure in front or rear brakes and shuttles braking power to the working half of the car. The warning light comes on to indicate failure.
  24. Stock configuration for the 280's.... Edit: not two proportioning blocks. One distribution sensor and one proportioning.
