  1. hello my friends I have some progress, I told you that this is a very slow project because of lack of time and limited funds so, the frame rails, wheel well and passenger floor is fixed and I just removed the dash, mainly to clean the backspace and through the air ventilation. I also want to fix the dash, after reading the helpful topics in this forum It has a dash cap right now but I want to remove it and do the job right here are some photos of my Z

  5. well, if you change your mind and go for poly... read the following links first... you will save time when you want to lube them when they start to squeak http://rallyways.com/specialty/part-2-powerflex-poly-bushings-miata-installation/ http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=20836

  7. I had a similar problem but my gas pedal was rough to press either when the car was running or not...But yes, it was even worse while I was on the road... I was advised to change the wire and put a steel wire... so, I found that the piano (yes piano ) wire is ideal and I used this and problem is solved There are different sizes though, don't buy too thick cause it will not bend and it will be more difficult than it is now... I am sorry but I can't remember how thick is the wire I used but just choose a thin one... anyway, this is the solution I found to my problem, maybe there is something else causing you problem

  16. it's not that I have a list now for parts I want but from time to time I will need something... for example, right now I am ordering a felpro full gasket set, ngk spark plugs and ngk spark plug wires... My local nissan dealers have never seen 240z gaskets... the datsun z and zx series were not popular here... don't know why... I know now that there are only other 3 (including mine) 240z in Greece and one 280z which is abandoned and bad shape... there is also a 2+2 280zx in a junkyard... so buying second parts in Greece is not something I can do... I have this 280zx engine (from the junkyard) in mind though but still I will need parts to rebuilt it I found the ngk spark plugs here in Greece but the price is much higher than U.S. Later I will need parts to rebuilt my engine, suspension parts... The car is running fine though but in my future plans there is a engine rebuilt and the cheapest way is buying parts from U.S. I just need to know if I am right on this... that buying from U.S. is the cheapest way... because that is my conclusion so far...
  17. Hello to all Z-friends I live in Athens, Greece and I have a 1973 240z which I bought 6 months ago from U.S. Even though the car is complete, well, needs some work but it is complete...I find myself looking to buy various parts from U.S. either because I can't find them in Greece or simply because the prices are much lower even with shipping costs... I would like to ask where Z-friends in Europe find parts... Ok, of course I know about ebay... But other stores or z-experts in Europe? Thank you in advance... And I'll thank you more later
  18. Good idea about opening a new threat but I am not very optipistic to find good deals in Europe... I hope I am wrong about this... New threat now opens in the Europe section I know the Rockauto store, great prices there Thanks
  19. OK... I will not cancel my order but next time I will ask here first Thanks Blue
  20. hello my Z-friends I emailed advanceautoparts.com about the ngk spark plugs I want (BPR6ES-11) but they are not made in Japan...they are made in U.S. I have seen somewhere an advice not to buy the made in France ngk... what about those made in U.S.? Anyway, I ordered spark plugs made in Japan that I found in Greece but they are expensive... €3,44 per item...which is $4.22 per item... double the price than advanceautoparts.com sells them... I want to order now the NE61 spark plugs wires... should I look again the ones made in Japan or it isn't necessary? Advanceautoparts.com sells them for only $30... should I buy from there or not? I guess these are also made in U.S.
