The in that case you DO need my parts car St.stephen! :classic:
  2. Yes, I saw this the other day when it was lower. I think that it's getting a little obsurd, how high did the seller set the reserve!? It is a pretty car and appears to be in good condition but it is a '73 after all, the least desirable of the 240Z series.
  3. A complete set of 4 iron cross wheels for your Z car. They are accented with red paint but it is quite worn and chipped. Other than that they appear in good condition (I just got these yesterday). $100 + shipping anyone? If not then make me an offer!

allknowingbald1 Tranny is the original 4-speed. mikeg I may end up parting it out yet and if I do you are welcome to the wiring harness. I have not made the decision to part it out just yet though.
  5. :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: I should have re-read this thread before putting my foot in my mouth.
  6. A vs. B tranny. What years were these? I have seen this somewhere but can not find the info now.
  7. If you're there in late May they may be having graduation ceramonies at Red Rocks. I ran into one years ago by accident, I was just there to see the place and got to see a bunch of kids graduating from some high school. I wondered why the parking lot was so busy in the middle of the day! :stupid:
  8. If anyone is looking to buy a speedo gear to match their 3.9 rearend this part is still available from Nissan dealers for $12.47 + tax. I just picked mine up! The part number is 32703-78103, if you have read the zgarage website this is the white one with 19 teeth. Hope this helps someone out there.

26th-z, Please tell...I'm wanting to get mine done and would like to know what you think of the end result from Dash Restor.
  10. Sounds a bit like Matamores (sp?) down south, across the boarder from Brownsville, Tx. Spent several spring breaks down there when I was younger.
  11. Yeah, I saw those and got out bid on both.
  12. I need the same part! Any have a couple pairs?

Hey thanx Ernie! Those are from the day I picked it up from you. Any how, for those interested there are now pix of the car available on my website at http://www.pape.ws/gallery/Parts_Car and for those who have broadband you can download the zip file which contains all of the pix from http://www.pape.ws/hosted_pix/ but I warn you, the file is about 90meg. I'm willing to trade this car for a used car trailer! Maybe even some cash plus the car to keep the trade even.

That may be the route I have to go but I wanted to move it quickly due to an opportunity I have.

How much interest is there for a '73 240Z parts car? The body is quit rusty so I do not believe that there are any usable body parts (I think I'm using the hood, but not sure yet) but the drive train is entact and was running when the car was parked a couple years ago (I am keeping the carbs and intakes, fuse box and maybe the front grill). Other than that the car is entact and complete with ALL perfect glass (I hate to let the glass go), the dash is cracked just as most all of them are. The gas tank has been cleaned out and the fuel lines are new as I was told by the previous owner who is a reliable and trustworthy guy (he's a member here). Car is orange with black interior (is NOT the one in my gallery or my advitar). If people are intersted please tell me how much you would pay for it. I'm trying to raise some money to fund another 240Z. If nobody is interested or the prices are not good then I will just strip it down and part it out but I'd rather sell it whole and save the time and effort of parting it out (probably would get more by parting it out though).
  16. 2many just pointed out some on eBay that may work for you. Here's the link to his post: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10890
  17. Much if not all of the info you are looking for is located in this thread, thanx to 2many! http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1568&perpage=15&pagenumber=2
  18. I need some parts from a '70 or early '71 series 1!! The center console (if in very good shape with no cracks, breaks, etc) Got It! Heater/Radio panel (no controls, just the plastic cover panel)(if in very good shape with no cracks, breaks, etc) The ashtray The valve cover (if it is the same as mine, reads "NISSAN 2400 OHC") Got It! Fuse box and cover (if in very good shape with no melts and has long pigtail) Got It! Hand throttle (I know that I may never find one) Combo switch (the one that has the lights, wipers, and turn signals on it) JDM tail lights Got It! SS braided brake lines Got It! [/list=1] Please provide prices, pix, and any other info you have on these parts. I'm looking for deals so if you are asking top dollar I would not be able to afford them at this time so please keep this in mind.
  19. SHOTIME, I sent you an email about the part I received but have not heard back from you. I got the wrong part. The valve cover I received was the "Nissan OHC" one and not the "Nissan 2400 OHC" that I bought from you. Please get back to me so that we can resolve this error and I can get the part I purchased. Thank you
  20. I picked up a jar of liquid black electrical tape years ago for my boat to waterproof some connections. This stuff worked just fine, you apply it with the brush that's attached to the cap of the jar.

Anyone have a car trailer they want to sell? I'm looking for one with a dovetail, slide out ramps, bumper pull (no gooseneck), around 18' and in the Texas area. Oh yes, and cheap! It's ok if it needs some work. I'm just looking for something to move my Zs around with.
  22. Originallity...not sooo important Appearance....important With that said, I would want the screws to be black so that they blend in like the originals did. However, I do not own a bench grinder.
  23. I need the three screws/bolts and nuts that are used to hold the lens cover on for the rear license plate light. I hope this makes sense. If not please let me know and I will post a pic to help.
  24. Ok here are some answers and a link to my photo gallery where you can see many pix of it from the very beginning all the way to the completed game. Arizona240z Cost was about $1000 as she sits today. There are kind of instructions available, you have to do some research and pull some of the information together yourself but it's all out there (this is how I found out about these things); I'd be willing to point you in the right direction (i.e. provide my bookmark list for this project). I could make another one I'm sure but not only will it cost you materials but also my time (these are time consuming!) and shipping (shipping from what I understand runs around $300 for these guys). I promise that it would cost less than what other comapnies are selling them for...$5000+ (these ones do have a larger monitor than mine currently does, but that will change). Sure, you can come play....just make sure you bring lots of quarters! Yes, it has a working coin door! Gav240z First thank you for the complement! Same as above for the research and also sharing my bookmarks. There is a group of people called "MAME Burners" who have the ROMs and will burn copies for the cost of the CDs and shipping (roughly speaking). Some of these people have other ROMs like the Atari 2600, Super NES, Gameboy, Apple IIe, TI99, etc, etc, etc (the list is VERY long). I got the entire set about a year ago...I think everything takes around 40 CDs. Anything else we can either take off-line or start a new thread for, I don't want to take away from what this thread started out as.
  25. I built that bad boy, that's why I'm so proud of it. :classic: It is the same MAME, there is a PC inside the case that runs the whole thing. I have not found any problems with the way it runs the games. This has instantly made me the "cool, favorite uncle" with my nephews! How about that 280zzzz game! Ok, it does suck...but it's Z related.
