  1. Here's a pair in eBay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4542170282&category=34207
  2. I have seen this done a few times. http://www.pape.ws/gallery/2004_Capital_of_Texas_Z_Car_Show/abm
  3. Mine is a Road Signature and has the vertical defroster lines.
  4. You're in Dallas, you have it made!!! Call All Z Car Specilalist and talk to Jerry, he will have what you need.
  5. texasz replied to jrendler's topic in Help Me !!
Can you PM or email me more information about this car please?
  6. I agree with Vicky, download the judging forms and you should have all the information you need. However, if you still have questions please let me know as I have judged an event or two where we followed the ZCCA forms.
  7. You've got it figured out!! Just unbolt your flanges from your stock diff and attach them to the new one. Since he's selling the R180s it is a direct bolt in using your mustache bar and half shafts. I can't tell you the weight though, I bought one of these last year...maybe the year before and shipping was included in the sales price ($115 as I recall so it was a really good deal...I bought a 3.9 ratio though...but the weight is the same). I can tell you that these are not all that large but they are heavy. I'm thinking like 80lbs maybe. ???
  8. I agree! I'm interested which bolts are important to replace with ARP also. I've been seeing some on eBay lately but not only are they pricey but the seller is not very helpful as far as what bolts are included. :disappoin
  9. Well I just grabbed his last set...the black ones with graphite in them that is. I originally wanted the red ones but after reading about the black ones the choice was VERY easy. Thanx guys for all the information!!
  10. You got a pretty good deal, I was watching those also but they went higher than I was willing to for since they had that crack and I already have a good pair and a poor spare set.
  11. While kicking around the web I just found another place: http://www.zcarsource.com/
  12. Three seconds on eBay and look what I found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4540052489&category=34207&sspagename=WDVW Unfortunately it's the pass. side and you need the driver's side. I'm shocked that I didn't find more, it seems like they are always available...typically in pairs but still available. Looks like you're right about VB, I just checked their latest catalog and the part you need is not available through them. The gold colored MSA catalog shows them as possibly being available, you'll have to call to find out. I will warn you that new they will cost you. If you have a daily driver or about anything other than a show car you may be best going used. Since you haven't had any luck so far below is a list of Z parts sellers I have collected...this is not an exhaustive list but simply what I have, I'm certain that others on this site can add to this list. I hope that this helps! http://www.webspawner.com/users/dannysdatsuns/ http://www.zcarparts.com/ http://www.victoriabritish.com/ http://www.zbarn.com/ http://www.zparts.com/home.html http://www.zcarperformance.com/ http://www.zandzxparts.com/ http://www.modern-motorsports.com/ http://www.datsunzparts.com/start.htm http://www.baddogparts.com http://www.oem-surplus.com/nwp/
  13. I'm glad someone else started this post for me. I was looking at these also but want to know what it does NOT include that I would have to purchase separately. Can someone please help!? I want to make sure I get all the pieces I need (I plan on replacing all the bushings on the car including sway bars, etc).
  14. It's really quite the opposite! The US spec lights are available from Too Intense, MSA, VB (I think), and possibly at your local Nissan dealer. If used if good enough (new are still kinda pricey but not as bad as the Euro ones) then search eBay, they are on there ALL the time!! You may also try the classifieds on this site, hybridz, zdriver and zcar.com for used ones. They are really very easy to locate, especailly used.
  15. I'd say that's pretty specific! You can tell that from a mile away.
  16. Check out the 3rd, 4th, and 5th pix on this page. This Scarab was at the Austin Z car show a couple years ago, I've seen it in about 4 shows since this one. http://www.pape.ws/gallery/2003_capital_z_of_texas_show?page=3
  17. Yes Mike I do happen to know how to get ahold of the owner of that site... Bambi is right, it's my site! I do not have any intention of shutting it down...ever. It is my site, on my server, in my home, so there are no bandwidth limitations nor issues of the hosting company going under or anything like that (I have many pages on my server including my family site, photo gallery, etc so you can see why it's not going anywhere). However, if you see anything there that you want please feel free to take it or if you prefer just ask and you can have copies. ALSO, if anyone on this site has anything that they'd like to add please contact me as I'd love to increase the amount of knowledge and history on that Z page!!!
  18. You beat me to posting this like. Thank you Tommo.
  19. The box is still sitting just inside my front door...that's how busy I've been lately...not even the time to move it to the garage. I have not opened the box either. It will be a while before I'm installing them but I will try and get the pix for you guys. Is there anything specific you are looking for?
  20. There was some question as to the size and weight of these items, I just got mine last night and here's the information: 28x11x14 50.00 Lbs It took 3 days to get to me in Texas and was shipped from ANAHEIM, CA
  21. He said on his site that a 240ZT was coming summer 2005! I wonder what he'll hit with that one? I have collected them from all over the web and from other people. I run my own site/server from my home so cost of storage/hosting is not an issue; as you can see the videos alone take up a lot of space and if I were paying a hosting service...ouch. If anyone has anything Z to contribute to my page please contact me. I like having such a collection while also offering something back to the Z community in the way of information/entertainment.
  22. Then there's always my site which has many of these and MANY other Z videos collected from all over the web. http://www.pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/
  23. I don't think that it would matter either way. I don't have one near me so I use one of those mail places and the people there are just great!
  24. Hi messenger! I'm in Austin also. What part of town are you in? I'm also curious what Toyota 4x4 calipers you purchased from Autozone (i.e. 4Runner, Tacoma, etc)?
