  1. Generally every manufacturer works out what didn't work, what was wrong with and what people didn't like about the model over the first couple of years of production for that model. So keeping that in mind you need to work out what car you like and buy the latest manufacturing date of that model. If, like some people, you chase VIN numbers then that theory, which has been proven over time, is thrown out the window. Goodluck.
  2. ROFL You crack me up. check your pm.
  3. :stupid: It would be good to attatch the pic wouldn't it. Here tis
  4. ROFL Here's a Z with lipped guards, 18" rims and 255 rubber. Looks are a personal thing so like it or not, it looks good.
  5. Wow! Like I said, I didn't take a good look at it and anything is possible. Wish I had spent a few minutes going over the car now. Maybe I'll get the chance at one of the meetings in the future. Does he come to them on occasion? Thanks for pointing that out Geoff.
  6. Nothing against the owner but I seriously doubt it. Didn't actually take that close of a look though so I can't judge. I suppose anything is possible though Rick. Here's a pic for those that weren't there.
  7. Good to see so many awards come to Sydney. I was hoping John took out a place, he deserved it as far as I'm concerned. I loved the surround on BAZ260. My friend was actually interested in buying one so if someone knows where I can get one please let me know. Pic below. Cheers
  8. Rick, beg your pardon, I remember the car now. It had the stock hubcaps and luvers right?
  9. Not sure if you're talking about this one (doesn't look like a 2+2) but a couple of people I spoke to didn't like the colour but I thought it suited the car very well.
  10. Unfortunately it's on every two years Steve.
  11. Hi Geoff. Yeah I took a few pics of that. Very tidy. Where can I find the results? I still don't know who won what.
  12. Had a fantastic time even though I was half asleep from my allnighter trip. It was great to see so many beautiful cars and so many fantastic ideas. The personal touches on some of the cars were great to see and the attention to detail was 'you beaut'. Looking forward to the Sydney 2005 Nationals. It was also great to meet some new people like Alfacat but a shame I didn't meet you 1 Bravo 6. Took too many pictures to post up but here's one of my favourites. It's Simon de Groot's car from Sydney. It's a show car no dobt but does he put it in a museum and ogle at it from afar. Hell no, he drove it up from Sydney. Good on you Simon.:classic:
  13. Ok ok I know it's a Honda but the ad is pretty cool so please take a look. Someone, anyone. ...please ok, I'll shut up now.:tapemouth
  14. In Australia 'Street Machine' is the biggest selling car magazine and you guessed it, I subscribe. Does anyone in Oz buy 'Australian Classic Car'? (I think that's the name) It looks to be 75% advertisements so I've never bothered to buy it.
  15. It was two DVD's. She had a few usernames on eBay but all of them got banned after a couple of us sniffed her out and reported her. It was so funny tracking her down. This one guy saw a pattern to her writing that ended with this smilie :] and used - instead of a fullstop. Her username that got me was 'chabrote' and her name is Channy. Here's one of her e-mail responses to me. ------- > > Hi George apologies l answered your email but something must have > > happened with it reaching you-l have posted of another copy of > > each-Channy:] -------
  16. Not too keen on buying a car I haven't seen in the flesh as is the case with eBay. I mean, I buy DVD's and whatnot but a car:finger: btw, I got burnt on eBay for the first time lst month. Some woman ripped a few people off for around $20 - $40 each. She kept delaying the shipment date and then saying it must have been lost in the mail and yadda yadda. Finally her e-mail started to reject my e-mails as she didn't pay her ISP bill. All I can say is there are some sad and pathetic people out there.

  19. Is that what it is. I asked about that wheel in another thread. I love it. Looks better than the 240Z ones.
  20. Is this anyone on here? Push start button Ford buckets Brakes need attention Women apparently like these cars:love: ...but not without an air filter http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2923807704&category=1258
  21. Sorry to post this here but is this an original Z wheel? I like it:love:
  22. Hi guys. It's fantastic to see Z's all over the world. A guy from Stockholm is holidaying here in Sydney and we met up through another forum. He has come out with us a few times and after seeing my car he decided to buy one. Z's have a way of doing that to a person. There are only a handful of Z's where he's from therefore not many parts but that hasn't stopped him. He's currently looking for one. Anyhoo, keep looking, there are bound to be others in Denmark. Cheers
  23. Very creative add from Honda. It's got to be one of the best adds I've seen for a while. Dial up beware but worth the wait. Once it runs through in stages it will play out in one go. http://home.attbi.com/~bernhard36/honda-ad.html
