Tools...
Thanks Carl. I've had my eye on a nice tool box that's not necessary now. Gotta expand the collection first. I was also thinking I just skip the tool box idea and spend that money on more tools and make a wall organiser (don't know what you'd call it really). Just an inch thick pice of wood I can hammer nails into and hang all the tools. If you have a look at the spanner set, the carry bag has three holes in it for hanging. This way you most of your tools will be visible.

Tools...
...and I got a socket set. It's a Repco Motorist 75 piece set that comes in a handy storage bag which you can just throw in your car when going for long trips. It's their 75th anniversary 75 piece set and I highly reccomend it. Costs AU$152 and has pretty much everything I'll need anyway.

Tools...
I visit the bank on a regular basis for work and I've stocked up on those resealable bags. I have a lifetime supply now. Yesterday I bought some tools. Here's a couple of pics. The first one is of the Sidchrome 14 piece metric spanner set. Longer than normal and have some anti-slip design. Expensive at AU$169 but I got them for $109 trade price. Damn the we get ripped off at retail prices. Oh, and I got a 7 piece allan key set with the hex ball points on the end.

Conspiracy? Is the Ozzy Guy Really an Ozzy
ROFL Well, to put that quote in the right context, I was speaking about all the junk e-mails we all get and how they promise we can 'enlarge your manlyhood in one easy operation' or 'do you crave bigger breasts?' I wouldn't advise that last one:finger: it's not all it's cracked up to be.

What is "backfiring"?
Hmm, you got me there Lachlan. I'll let one of the wiser fellas answer that one. Is this the Z or the K you're talking about?

What is "backfiring"?
It happens due to a rich mixture of fuel and it's bad for your plugs (ie it fouls them) and your cat (in newer cars) over time. That unburnt fuel ignites in your exhaust and walah, a pop. You can also experience a popping sound due to gas flow through an aftermarket exhaust. As you change gears fast gas flow is mixed with slow gas flow and a pop occurs due to the reverberations.

Proposing a meeting, Northwest Z's...
A big meet from any car club is a great sight to see. Here in Sydney we have regular meets with the Skyline club. On occasion we get 40-50 cars and that turns more than a few heads. We literally take over the roads and the best thing is in a group that big you are either well behaved or you will not be invited again. To keep all the cars together we use two way radios and this also keeps us pretty entertained during the cruise. Invaluable tool that, a great investment. Generally though we have a meet up every Friday and/or Saturday night and here you will find the hard core cruisers who stay in touch even throughout the week. I've made many a friends through these cruises so guys, get out there and meet each other if you can. Cheers

It had a 3" thick core but not enough air gets through so the owner is going to cut the bar where the number plate is.

Conspiracy? Is the Ozzy Guy Really an Ozzy
Europe is correct and more to the point is the Mediterranean. Now how did you come to that conclusion? For the record I'm from Macedonia which is just north of Greece for those who haven't heard of it. The correct name is actually "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia". This is a result of Greece pettitioning against our use of the "Macedonia" name as they claim it is theirs. They claim alot of things are theirs but that's another story. I came to Australia in 1987 and absolutely love this vast country of ours. Have been back to my motherland once in 1997 and realised that Australia is so much better in respect to jobs, government and quality of life in general. So don't take things for granted guys. We have it on a silver platter here. Cheers

2003 Z Nationals Brisbane
Ha ha, and I still stand firm on my comment. Orange and silver look good together. Maybe would have chosen a different pattern and left out the side stripe but that's just me. I've always wanted a single stripe on the passenger side about 25cm thick.

Brisbane Easter Z Car Nationals
Umm, were there stock Z's at the 2003 Nats? You could have fooled me. Seriously though, modified Z's were everywhere and from what I saw they were of high calibre. I love it:love:
